A Poem from Space

You're like the Sun and I'm the Moon

We're never fated to meet

On and on, running away from me

And I will forever be chasing your light

I'm the sun and you're the Earth

I can only love you from afar

Sustain you life and give you warmth

For if i get too near, you'll slowly disappear

You're a star and I'm Earth

A planet enthralled by your brilliant light

But you'll be forever out of my reach

Since gravity already committed me to an orbit

Luna, the silver moon, I'm always by your side

But you never notice my meek starlight

You are blinded by his light

But whatever happens i will never forsake you nor leave you

Somethings are never meant to be

Just like the moon, i'll be forever chasing

Like the sun, loving from afar

Like the earth, loving when i shouldn't

Like the star, silently loving someone right at your side
