Karamatsu blinked at Osomatsu in confusion. Why was he panicking so much? Osomatsu squeezed Karamatsu's wrist harshly, making him wince. Osomatsu began running quickly, dragging Karamatsu behind him- but quickly stopped and turned around, looking at the house. Karamatsu turned his head to look and quickly his eyes widened in shock.
The house was on fire.
Karamatsu looked at it with shock, then fear when the entire house burst completely into flames. He jumped back when then the fire spread to the grass. Osomatsu started running again, making Karamatsu stumble a bit. Karamatsu looked forward at Osomatsu, "Hey! Osomatsu-niisan! Where are we going?!" Osomatsu didn't respond and kept running. Karamatsu huffed a bit then looked behind them, his eyes widening even more than they already had. The fire seemed to be chasing them. It had spread from the house all the way to the flower field (which is where Choromatsu met Osomatsu). Osomatsu stopped as the fire cut him off his tracks. He then switched spots with Karamatsu, only to see that they weren't able to go back that way. Osomatsu looked around.
They were surrounded by the flames.
Karamatsu looked at Osomatsu, "What now? We're trapped!" Osomatsu took a deep breath then turned around to face Karamatsu, letting go of his wrist. He was smiling, rubbing the underside of his nose with his index finger. "Sorry Karamatsu! It's time for you to go back!" Karamatsu blinked, "Wait wha- OSOMATSU!" Osomatsu was consumed by the swirling flames.
--Karamatsu shot up, sitting up in the futon, heavily breathing. He was sweating as he no longer felt the burning heat of the fire. No no no no no- what happened?! Osomatsu-niisan.. What even happened?! Karamatsu looked around in panic, No! What happened to Osomatsu!? Is he okay?! How can I get back?! Karamatsu felt tears form in his eyes but quickly blinked them away as he started to stare at his lap.
Osomatsu isn't.. gone is he..?
((OH WOW AN UPDATE HOLY CRAP- meh I dunno. Anyway if you guys still are reading this crappy story, thanks. I'm most likely going to rewrite it or something but I'll update this one telling you if I did or not sooooo- I dunno. Also ignore how short this chapter is.
