Niall' POV
I woke up at about half ten, confused by my surroundings. I had been sleeping on the landing floor. Then I remembered last night. Hannah had woken, screaming and crying from a nightmare, I had gone into her everytime to make sure she was okay, and got back to sleep and decided it would be easier to just stay on the landing by her door. Luckily she'd been asleep this time for a good few hours. I peeped through the crack in the door and could see her still sleeping peacefully, I smiled and picked up my duvet and pillows, taking them back into my room. My stomach grumbled loudly and I decided it was time for breakfast! I went downstairs, started cooking up some pancakes quietly, not wanting to wake Hannah up. I put the radio on humming along to the song that was playing.
Once I finished breakfast I went back up to Hannah's room, I rested my hand on her shoulder and whispered her name quietly. I didnt want to wake her, but I knew if I didnt now, she wouldnt sleep tonight.
She groaned slightly, turning towards me subconciously, her head resting in my lap. I smiled, saying her name again and her eyes opened and looked up at me. Within seconds she was up out of my lap, her cheeks flushed red. I looked over at her as she stood out of the bed, she looked so cute in my clothes. Wait what? What was I thinking? I hardly know the girl.
"Hey, its okay...it doesnt matter you were asleep" I said with a small smile, I didnt want her to feel embarrassed.
She shook her head
"I need to go home..." She mumbled, as she picked up the ripped dress and broken shoes laying on the floor. I went over to her, my hand resting reassuringly on her shoulder.
"Ive cooked you some pancakes, come and eat them, Ill find you some clothes to wear. Theres no rush love"
She turned and looked up at me, her eyes empty and sad.
"Why are you helping me?...you dont know me.." She whispered quietly, looking down again.
"Because I care" I said simply, as I lifted her chin up with my finger and looked into her eyes.
