Background/Prologue

Background

A girl, her two sisters, the fellowship, and two dwarfs. Powers, magic ring, majesticness. That's what was involved. My name is Theanna Calienda (Th-e-anna Cali-enda). Inside the gates I am called Theanna, but outside the gates in the village, I am known as Calienda (or Cali or Calien (Cali-en)). I am the youngest of three. The oldest is Elana. The middle is Alyssa. We are the daughters of a king and queen of . The three of us each have a specific power. Elana has the power of winter, Alyssa has the power to heal and to confuse, and I have the power to do a memory charm on someone, see the futur, and control. I also am a water element, meaning I can control water. We live in Middle Earth (M.E.).

Prologue

When we were little, we were in the ballroom playing in the snow and skating around on the ice that Elana had set there so we could build a snowman. Alyssa was jumping from snow hill to snow hill that Elana was making. As Alyssa jumped off the last snow hill that Elana made, Elaina accidentally hit her with her power in the head. Alyssa was knocked out and as cold as ice. Elana raced over to her and held her in her arms.

"Theanna, go get mama and papa."

As I went, I slipped on the ice. "Mama! Papa!" I called out before I hit the floor and slid away from the door. Our mother will also had the power to heal. She and father came in and mother ran over to Elana and Alyssa while father came over to me. Mother healed Alyssa and I put a memory charm on her to make her not remember that Elana had powers. We closed the gates to keep Elana's powers hidden.

Years later, our parents died traveling over seas. And a few months after that, it was Elana's coronation day. We opened up the gates, had the ceremony, and had the reception. During the reception, Alyssa came over to Elana and I with a prince from Earth that she just met. They asked Elana for her bessings so they can be married.

"Um Alyssa? Can I talk to you? Alone?"

"No. Whatever you have to say, you can say to both of us."

"Alyssa...." I was going to help Elana but she looked back at me, sturn. "Sorry m'lady."

"Alyssa," she said as she turned back to her. "You can't get married to someone you just met."

"You can if it's true love."

"Alyssa, what do you know about love?"

"More then you. All you know is how to shut people out!"

"The party is over. Close the gates."

"No Elana wait." Alyssa reaches out to grab Elana's hand to stop her, but pulls off her glove.

"Wha-? Hey give me my glove."

"Elana please please. I can't live like this anymore!"

"Then leave." Elana walks away from Alyssa towards the door.

"What did I ever do to you?"

"Enough Alyssa."

"No. Why? Why do you shut me out? W-why do you shut the world out? What are you so afraid of?"

That's when I spoke up. "Elana! Don't! Don't do it!" But I said it to softly because she had already stopped an began to speak.

"I said enough!" As she said 'enough', she turned around and unleashed her power.
