Emily jumped out of bed at the sound of the alarm "darn it"she said to herself suddenly realizing she was late for work she rushed into the bathroom to brush her teeth and take her bath with a towel around her chest and water dripping from her hair she opened her closet trying to decide what to wear she was still trying to decide when she heard her phone ringing she picked it and sighed when she saw it was her dad"dad I still don't understand why you had to take a vacation leaving me stuck with GOLD STAR"she asked frowning "so you're saying you can't handle it?"he asked of course I can handle it but your employees are so...annoying"she complained sitting on her bed"you're still saying you can't handle it remember M one day it will be yours"he said"fine,fine I can do this you just enjoy your trip in miami" she hastily answered suddenly knowing what to wear "now that's a good girl "she dropped her phone admiring herself.

    Scott put on his white snickers picked up his bag  pack and swung it to his back he looked at the mirror and arranged his hair and was about to leave when Richie walked in "Richie Hills in the building"he shouted "some one's excited"said Scott taking up his camera and wearing it on his neck "I got a job at CRYSTAL BLUE MOON" Richie announced "now I'll be able to see Raven Rite my ultimate challenge " he added Scott looked up at Richie and saw he was radiant as ever "ultimate challenge uh, then who is your ultimate prize?"Scott asked going into the sitting room with Richie walking behind him "isn't it obvious" Richie asked "no not really" Scott answered taking out an Apple from the refrigerator "Emily Crane " Richie answered taking the Apple from Scott,taking a bite and crunching away "Emily Crane ?"Scott asked opening a soda "yeah she's crazy hot even hotter than Rite"   "yeah I don't know about that Rich, Rite is also pretty hot too"   "I know but Emily is hotter"     "I don't think so"   "Emily is hotter just admit it " Richie said  "you know what ? I really don't have time to debate on who is hotter I have a job interview with your miss hottie and am already late okay ?" Scott finally said taking a bottle of water and walking towards  the door "I call dibs on both of them!" He yelled after Scott " don't worry they are all your's" Scott shouted back going through the door.
    
   Scott took a taxi to crane gold stay and in a couple of minutes they got there he paid the taxi driver and got out of the taxi .The driver drove away both Scott stood there admiring the gigantic beautiful CRANE GOLD STAR he took his camera and took a pic.He always wanted to work there he couldn't believe he was standing in front of it. He opened the gate of the company and was greeted by some securities who came to check him. He attempted to walk to the elevator when he turned to ask a question "am looking for Steven Crane the one that's gonna interview me?"     
"No sir, Mr Crane is on leave miss Emily Crane his daughter is now in charge you'll find her in the sixth floor" one of the security men answered. Scott entered into the elevator and punched a button he saw a girl about his age with brunette bouncing curled hair,white fair skin, she wore a fitted black dress that looked really expensive and was just above her knee with  black high hill shoes and a white purse hanged on her shoulders to match she was beautiful and looked really familiar to Scott "Hi am Scott " he stretched his hand toward her
"Am Raven Rite" Scott's eyes widened when she said her name and shaked his hand
"It's really nice to meet you I love your work" Scott said smiling
"Thanks then why didn't you come work in my company" she frowned
"Um...... I.... um" he didn't know what to say
"It's  okay am Just kidding?" She smiled with her eyes filled with amusement
"Oh," he said in relieve th e elevator dinged then opened and Scott came out
"It was really nice meeting you  mr.... Scott" she said just before the elevator closed.Every worker was busy with one thing or the other "where can I find Emiy crane"Scott asked one of the workers
"It's right over there" he pointed Scott went to the office he was directed to
"Are you questioning my authority?!"Emily yelled at an employee "of course not but miss...."the employee tried explaining "get out ! take your lame ass designs and get the hell out! cause you're fired" she yelled throwing the papers on the employees face Scott stood there watching the show in surprise as he observed the young lady in front of him she was an African American, with a tall slender figure she had a magnificent  glowing chocolate skin and very dark hair that was straightened  her eyes were brown she was almost innocently beautiful but it was obvious she spat fire"who are you" she asked "scott Emerson" Scott responded walking closer to her and stretching his hand "you're the one my dad recommended ?" she asked uncertainly shaking  his hand "yeah why do you ask in that way"
"you're younger than I expected"
"I don't understand" Scott asked as they both took a sit
"What are you like eighteen? "she asked with a mocking smile on her face "I get that a lot and no am not eighteen " scott sighed "then you must be twenty,twenty one?"she guessed crossing her legs and both hands on each end of her pen " actually am twenty four"
"Twenty-four? huh,that's close enough "can we  go back to what I  came here for business?"
"You're hired"
"Just like that?"Scott asked surprised "you're a photographer for the advertising department right ?"
"Yeah but...."
"There's no buts my dad recommended you which means you're special plus.."she got up"you're cute we need hot workers to attract celebs and you're hot " she said dropping down her pen "thanks....I guess"Scott answered not really caring "so when do I start working "scott added
"Never!"she suddenly answered
"But you just said I was hired"Scott eyes widened with surprise "am Just kidding you can start working right now and wipe that frown off your face you're too serious it's making me uneasy" she said with a slight grin Scott didn't respond he just got up and left and said in his mind '

At six,Raven had already gone home she dropped her bag and fell on her bed just staring at the ceiling with no  thoughts "miss raven do need any thing?"her maid asked walking into her room "am thirsty" she replied closing her eyes "I'll get you a glass of water"the maid left her room.Raven turned her face to the direction of her window the Sun had gone down it was almost dark her phone vibrated she got up and ransacked her bag just to find the phone When she found it, she saw it was a reminder of what she had totally forgotten it was the companies party she sighed and layed back on her while at Emily's house, Emily was not excited because to her, it was a way to prove to her dad that she could get along with Raven which she didn't want to she hated Raven and Raven also hated her they had  never  gotten along since high school but Emily just  had to get along with her even just for a day for the company's sake. Emily opened her closet and brought out a long blue dress and layed it her bed
"Hey Scott are you gonna go?" Richie asked walking down the stairs "go where" Scott asked taking a bite from his hamburger "the partnership of the company you work and mine" Richie said sitting beside Scott and putting  his two feets on the table
"You mean I should go see two rivals make a partnership that's not even real? I don't think so" he chewed his hamburger "but you work at one of the rival companies "
"So,?"
"So, you have to go"
"How did you get an invitation Richie I thought you're commencing work tomorrow?"Scott asked changing the subject "do you even have to ask? with a face like mine, I can get anywhere"Richie bragged collecting the hamburger from Scott and dropping it on a plate "yeah right"Scott responded getting up to get a glass of water "stop changing the subject"
"Am not...I just told you am not going. so give it a rest rich" with this final words, Scott went up the stairs to his room Richie knew better not to push Scott. Scott wasn't really someone who talked a lot but nevertheless he was his best friend.Scott laid on his bed reminiscing on his day but there was something that he remembered and could not help but wonder "how did Steven know me"he was thrown back to reality when his phone rang he answered without looking at the number "Is this Scott Emerson?" A feminine voice asked "who wants to know" Scott asked "it's the Secretary of miss Emily Crane"
"Okay, am listening"
"Miss Crane wants you to attend the gold blue moon binding according to her, there would be A lot of eye pleasing designs and she needs you and your associate there"
"Fine I'll  be there"Scott answered dropping his phone,laying back in bed really tired.
