He staggered back out of his bedroom, just realising how tired he was. As he slumped on the sofa in his lounge, he took out his phone. He had to text Toriel.

04:36. S- Hey Tori

Could you pop in as soon as possible?

Sorta important

Sighing, he slid his phone back into his pocket and tried to get comfy on the coach. Doubt I'll sleep tonight, he thought as the springs of his lumpy sofa poked into his spine as he settled.

You woke up confused and in a lot of pain. The unfamiliar environment instantly put you on edge, not to mention the intense ache in your wing also made you jumpy. You stretched it out, ruffling the feathers. As you did this, you noticed that someone had wrapped your wing with some sort of dressing. Hesitantly, you sat up and examined the area you had woken up in.

It appeared to be somebody's chambers as it contained a bed and many personal items, like the device that blared out a person's voice. For a second, you believed that one of the Big Three had managed to find where you were and were trying to reach you. after a few seconds, though, you realised it was only a human droning on about the weather.

The thing that caught your attention was the picture on the bedside table. It was of two skeletal monsters, obviously related, hugging and smiling like there was nothing on Earth that could part them. You curiously noted that you must be in a monster's living space.

You got on your feet, legs still slightly wobbly from the stress of the night before, and wandered out of the chambers into another space, which you guessed was the lounge. The room was almost as small as the sleeping chambers, only consisting of a tiny cooking area, a marble counter, a tv and a sofa. A few chairs were scattered around the middle counter, forming a little able that would fit around five.

As you searched the room, you realised there was something moving underneath the mound of quilts on the couch. Cautiously you stalked around the stirring rugs, ready to attack at any moment. Your tail flicked and ears twitched as you stealthily reached for the blanket, hand hovering a few inches away, before you snatched it up with enough speed that Diana would be impressed.

Underneath was a small skeletal monster, curled up into a tight ball and face a relaxed as he slept. You blinked, not expecting this seemingly harmless creature here. It suddenly clicked. This was the short skeleton from the bedside picture. They must've been the one to change you and take you in from the storm.

Considering you might owe them your life, you carefully placed the blanket back on them so it tucked in just below their shoulders. Inquisitively, you studied them. Their skull seemed to always hold an easy smile, whether it was default or not, and you could hear the soft huffs of breath as they slept peacefully on.

Deciding you'd let them sleep, you walked over to the counter, weaving in between bottles as you went, and slumped into a chair. You'd wait until the skeleton monster awoke before questioning them at least. This way, you could collect your thoughts and think up anything you wanted to ask the strange monster.

Sans slowly roused from his sleep, eyes bleary and bones sore from sleeping on his lumpy couch. Wait, you did he spend the night on the sofa again? Oh, right, the girl. The girl! He leapt up, ignoring the pain in his spine as he scrabbled off the couch, mind instantly whirling at a million miles an hour. He heard a rustling at his breakfast bar.

Cautiously, he sneaked a glance over the back of the couch in that direction. The girl was sitting there, obviously deep in thought, twiddling her thumbs absentmindedly. Her thick black tail whipped slowly around her legs and her amber-tipped black wings fluttered distractedly behind her. Her ears twitched as she stared at the counter like it was the most interesting thing in the world.

As if she could feel his stare on her, she tilted her head towards him, locking eyes with those emotionless amber eyes. Without breaking eye contact for a second, she stood, ears flicking back and stalking towards him. Sans gulped, nervous underneath her cat-like stare and uncomfortable on how close she was getting.

Sans attempted to make conversation, "u-uh hey. A-are you feeling better?" he asked in a voice still hoarse from sleep. She said nothing. "so is there any reason you just appeared on the roof?" he questioned, holding the newcomers gaze as he maintained a steady smile although he as uncomfortable.

She reached the couch and studied him for a moment before thrusting her hand out. Sans flinched before realising the hand stayed there, waiting. Cautiously, he took her hand in his own and shook it. Deciding to introduce himself, he said, "heya, the name's Sans the Skeleton." When she said nothing in return, he coughed awkwardly. "and your name is?"

"Thalia." she stated, her voice soft from non-use. Her head tilted once more. "I must ask, am I on Earth?" she inquired like it was the most normal question she could have said. Confused, Sans nodded silently.

"uh yeah, Ebott to be precise." The silence stretched on uncomfortably long. "so, I'm guessing you're not from around here?" She shook her head.

"no, I am from Olympus" she smiled, gaze growing wistful. Sans was, once again, confused. He'd never heard of Olympus and he was pretty good at geography.

Curious, he decided to push further, "Is that in America or something?" he asked. Again, she shook her head and pointed out of his balcony window to the stars.

"I am from up there, where the Gods found their final resting place. It is a peaceful place filled with many different creatures, some much like your own. There is no pollution, no rushing cars and loud honks, only the tranquil noise of people enjoying their days. With no need to rush anywhere, we fly, walk, run, teleport, the list goes on, where we please however some prefer pegasi-drawn carriages. It is so, perfect." She finished, eyes drawn back to him.

Whilst he absorbed the new information, he contemplated whether asking the question that plagued his mind 4or not. Eh, whatever.

"Why did you come here? Weren't you happy?" he queried. Thalia's eyes clouded with sadness and Sans almost felt bad for asking. That feeling didn't last though as her eyes sharpened and she turned her hard gaze back to him. She straightened up and walked around the couch until she was directly in front of him, hands on her hips.

"I have said too much so I do believe it is time for you to tell me about yourself." She said, eyes narrowing into amber slits.
