Lady-In-Waiting Please?

There may be something I didn't mention... I get VERY dizzy when I have a  mental over load, and this absolutely counts as one. Next thing on my list, learn to fit in. And find a lady-in-waiting. (What kind of princess would I BE if I didn't have one? Surely not a very good one...)

" Are you okay, Izealla? You look a bit pale..."Jeoffrey said quietly, as if not to disturb my thought process.  " I-I... I'm not sure.. I don't really know how to react... One minute, I'm barely ten and falling from a sculpture I'm climbing, and the next, I am fourteen and being betrothed... How do I react? Should I be happy?... Or scared?... I just don't understand what I should be feeling..." I said, thinking silently to myself about the fact that not ALL of what I had said was a simulated response.

" OH! The famous child has awaken! That means the grouping of our kinds, the courtship of OUR people to YOURS! Forgive me, child of our dearest king and queen, for coming in here and disrupting you whilst you speak to the price of my lands, a--and to you, my lord, for speaking without permission... I await the punishment that shall befall me..."

A nurse-maid, seemingly from France had come in, possibly to talk with her Lord, but instead found me... Awake... "Dearest Irileth.. You are in the presence of a glorious queen-to-be, not a CHILD," Jeoffrey chuckled. "Come now, you look so shaken. You must learn to walk to a room with confidence. You and I have not met, no? So you must act as if you have never heard any legend of me from the kingdom, and like you know more than me. Which, by the way, you do, considering that I have been asleep for nearly four years." I spoke quietly, like my mother always had to me. Realizing that I was merely speaking a fact, she sat up straighter, and gained a Higher amount of self-worth. The change was so dramatic, you could practically HEAR her gain righteousness. Noting this, I began to pace the room, speaking to her, saying "So. I shall need a lady in waiting, and seeing as you ARE the only lady I know, other than my daughter, of course, where should we start? You must know something of the castle that we reside in, so... Lets go find me a bathing room." Smiling, she held her arm out and said, quite loudly, mind you, "Shall we?"
