So many thoughts ran through my head as I walked into the apartment complex and took the elevator up to the second floor. The music in the elevator did not help with the anticipation of possibly seeing Bradley in the apartment. If I was acually going to be kicked out I needed a few things to hold me over until all my stuff was removed.
I walked down the hallway and it was almost like Deja vú hit me as I walk walking down the hall counting each of the numbers down the hall until I reached our apartment. I placed a trembling hand in the door knob and slowly turned it. When the door opened everything was quiet, the apartment was still clean even though I have only been gone four days. I stepped into the apartment and closed the door slightly behind me. I walked into my room and almost had to do a double take. Everything was cleaned and neat, I left it slightly messy but looks like Brad cleaned it up nicely which put a smile on my face.
I grabbed a duffle bad and threw in a couple of outfits. I most likely would be back in a few days so I packed lightly. The sound of little footsteps scraped along the hardwood flooring until I saw Comette running into my room. I smiled as I sat on the floor to let her.
Walking out of my room I set my bag on the couch and walked over to pour a cup of food into comette's bowl.
Once I was satisfied with her I decided to do the dishes and pick up a bit just to make it fair since Bradley cleaned up my room. The dishes were done in about twenty minutes or so leading me to them vacuum up the living space seen as there were pizza crumbs.
Looking around the apartment I smiled seeing how it finally looked. I grabbed my bag and was ready to leave when Bradleys breathing danced across my neck and his arm touched my waist. I spin around to catch my breath because I was not expecting him to scare me like that.
Bradley chuckles and my eyes wander from his face to his chest where the bandage from the wound looked to be just about healed but my eyes widened when I was a new bandage on his arm and bruises on Brads chest as well as the right side of his face.
"W-What Happend?!" I demanded in shock
Bradley tilted his head down and sighed "long story short I went to kill my dad"
"YOUR CRAZY, YOU COULD HAVE DIED"
Bradley keeps clam as nothing happened "ehh indeed I almost did"
I clenched my jaw but simpathy filled my eyes "you could have died...almost died..how do you expect me to cope with that?"
"Listen forget that, I want to say that I was sorry for yelling at you the other day. My temper got the best of me and at times I can't control it. I didn't mean for you to leave and I didn't mean to yell at you and make you leave" Bradley says calmingly
I look back up at Brad when he speaks again as he takes the duffle bag out of my hands "please stay..."
I nod my head In agreement and hug brag gently trying to avoid putting pressure on his wounds.
I am currently sitting on the stool to the island in the center of the kitchen. I watch as Bradley makes us pancakes. The funny thing is he looks so concentrated and it's amusing to know he takes this so seriously. I look up and follow the pancake that fly in the air and then then back onto the pan. Brad turns around smirking and layers pancakes on both our plates.
I jump up and grab us two glasses filled with orange juice and then set them gently on the table. I sit back down and begin to eat.
"Thanks for the food" I comment with a smile forming in my face.
"Ahhh your smile sure shows it"
