Although lance was an open book, there were some things he could never tell the other paladins. i mean, when you are stuck in space with two aliens and four kids you don't have a ton of options. you can either hide half of who you are or risk hell. that's why lance never told anyone. that's also why he took it so hard when they learned.

mind games. a planet of mind games. the species on this planet (the legaros) were geniuses and specialized in messing with anyone of any species. that's why the galara took hold of their planet and enslaved the legaros.

As the legaros are such geniuses, they can trick and bend most minds. games children play can drive a man mad, and if they try they can mentally disable any species for life. the galara found this world of trickery and with a few attempts, took it over. now the Legaros are enslaved and are forced to bend minds for the empire. although the Legaros love trickery and playing with peoples minds, being forced to do it for the galara wast something anyone wanted.

*scene change*

"paladins, we have received a distress signal from a nearby planet." allura said through the castle speakers. "please get your armour on and meet me in the control room"

quickly, the paladins rushed to get in uniform and see who needed their help this time. as they reached the controll room, allura explained that because of the distress signal they would go down to the galara filled planet but explained that they had to be carfull for they were dealing with possibly the smartest race in the galixy.it seemed to be a trap to them all but nevertheless, they started to decent on to the surface of the planet.
