"Calyn get yo ass up! I'm tired of going through this shit with you!" My aunt yelled through the wooden door. Today was the first day of school and I might sound like a middle schooler, but I don't want to go at all. I groaned and hopped out the bed.
I went in the bathroom to do my hair and my cousin Arielle was in there doing her hair. Sometimes she makes me sooo anxious. She's always with the gangbangers or whatever. I'm surprised her mom doesn't worry about her.
"Hey bitch." She said giving me a wink and a quick hug. Arielle was always my favorite cousin. Our moms literally forced us around each other so we were like sisters.
Arielle walked out the bathroom as I stepped in. I threw my clothes off my body and stepped into the warm shower. After my shower, I went to my room and got dressed.

After getting dressed, I went downstairs and into the kitchen. Arielle and aunt may was down there in the kitchen eating breakfast.
"Hey auntie, how's your morning?" I asked. Usually she says she always has the worst days but she gets a shit load of money.
"It's going so great thanks for asking, I'm actually going to be on a business trip for two months." She said sipping coffee that came just out the pot.
Arielle almost choked on her waffles.
"What the hell mom, when were you going to tell me?" Arielle said picking her fork up and eating again. I just stood there shocked asf am I right? My mom would've blown my shit out.
"Ari watch your tone, and anyways Calypso I'm leaving you in charge and I'm leaving in a few minutes."
The hell. The fuck. The shit.
"Well there's my uber, bye my babies." Aunt May said before grabbing her suitcases and walking out the door.
"You know what I'm thinking? We sh-" Arielle started but I cut her off. I knew exactly what she was thinking. A fucking party.
"Nope mhm mhm uh uhn no ." I said grabbing the cereal box from the fridge. I opened the fridge and grabbed the milk.
"Calyn you're always doing this, have some type of fun at least, please." Arielle said getting up and putting her dish in the sink. I had an amazing idea.
"You have to wash the dishes until auntie gets back." I said before pouring my cereal and milk at the same time into my bowl. She looked so devastated it was so hilarious.
"Fine."
"Cmon so we can leave we're soo late." I said finishing my cereal and grabbing my keys and running to the door.
The car ride was filled with Arielle saying who she was inviting, what type of drugs she was getting, and what type of drinks would be served. I don't know how she does it to be honest. We got out and walked to the main entrance of the school. Two boys were outside the school smoking a cigarette.
"Is that my mans, Ski?" Arielle said loudly causing them to look over towards us. The boy with the huge plugs in his ear, which I'm guessing is Ski, walked over fast as hell.
"Wassup Ari? I haven't seen you in so long yo." Ski said hugging Arielle for the tenth time. I looked over and saw the boy he was with walking over to us with his head down.
"Oh I forgot, Calyn this is Ski,Ski this is calyn my cousin." Arielle said looking at us back and forth. Ski was looking me up and down, and I have to admit he was fine.
"Hey Calypso." He said giving me a small smile. Wait hold the fuck up. How does he know my nickname?
"Yo you remember me right? From our old days man, we all hung out together. Me you and Arielle." He said getting closer to me. It was all coming back to me now, I was about to say what in the foolery?
"Aww Ski it's been soo fucking long man." I said before giving him a huge hug. Ski and I were like brothers and sisters back in the day . Until his mother made him move down to Florida then shortly , arielle moved down here and so did I.
"This is my vro, X." He said pointing to the boy who still had his head down. The boy, X, looked up and when I tell you I fell in love. He was so cute but mysterious at the same time.
"Hi." He said looking at me. Only me. I blushed and looked at the ground then back at him.
"Hi." I said waving at him. He waved back before looking at his phone again.

Me and Arielle walked in the parking lot after school because that's were all the kids were. Turns out Arielle invited Ski and X and some other people already. In a couple hours, she already invite people to party that wasn't even ready.
When we got home, Arielle rushed to her room. Like 30 minutes later, she came out and said that the party planners were on their way. I walked upstairs to my room and closed the door. All I could think of X.
