As I'm running into the hospital I yell at the lady at the front desk "What happened !?" "Miss I'm going to need you to take a seat" the lady responds "No tell me what the fuck happened to my mother!?" I tell as tears stream down my face, "miss Dr.Palvin will be with you in a minute" the lady assures me "Just take a seat till he comes" the lady says before I have a chance to say anything.

I have been pacing back and fort for the past 5 minutes that I'm starting to get Pissed off, as I was stomping my way to the lady to tell her where the fuck is this motherfucker until Dr.Palvin comes out with a serious look on his face "Ashley you can come and see your mom, I just wanted to inform you that she was not in a stable condition before and we don't really know of she is in one now so I'll give 10 minutes and you'll have to go" he says I just nod at him and run to the room where she's at. I yell as I shake her "MOM WAKE UP YOU CANT LEAVE ME NOT TODAY NOT WHEN DAD IS STILL HERE I NEED YOU I-" "TAKE HER OUT OF HERE" Dr.palvin shouts as he comes barging into the room and pushing out a heart retriever and starts to warm it up and shout "Clear" multiple times. As I stand in front of the window tears streaming down my cheek this can't be happening , she can't leave me not like this not when I'm starting to fall apart , she's the one who always puts me back together I need her and she just going to leave me !? I think to myself as I slam my fist into the brick wall ignoring the pain and just sliding down crying . A nurse comes out and puts her hand on my shoulder "Ashley you have to wait in the waiting room" she says "No" I reply "you have to -" she gets cut off when I hear Dr.palvin say "Time of death" I sit there as tears stream down my cheek.

5 HOURS EARLIER

As I lay in bed I try to remember the last time I talked to Jacob I mean he's been trying to talk to me but I have been completely ignoring him. As I get out of bed and getting ready for school my phone vibrates I look down and notice it's a text from Shawn "Hey need a ride to school ?" He ask "I thought you graduated already?" I say while chuckling "Um no that's Sam I transferred to your school" he replies back "Cool be here in 10" I reply as I throw my phone on my bed and get dressed quickly.

As I walk down stairs I make toast quickly and run out the door when I here a honk. "Hey Ass" Shawn replies as I frown "Ass? really why?" I ask as I chuckled "Cause instead of ash I'm going to say Ass , I'm different" he replies "different huh" I reply while chuckling "Oh shut up" he says while playfully pushing me as I laughed.

The whole car ride me and Shawn was joking around and laughing an I feel like he's going to become a good friend nah scratch that he's more like an older brother I never had , as we enter school there is numerous stares causing me to groan as Shawn chuckles "What's so funny" I say with a straight face "You" he replied as I shove him and say "Shut up".

1 hour earlier

It's 5 the period meaning I have chemistry with the one and the only Jacob Lovely isn't it? "Ashley" Jacob yells from a distance as I turn and spot him and take off into the opposite direction into chemistry lab, I seriously have no luck cause Jacob comes and takes a seat next to me meaning we are lab partners "Ashley I'm sorry" Jacob replies "Jacob drop it I don't care anymore I get it you was busy" I reply while looking forward "No Ashley I was stupid and dum for doing that" Jacob replies "Just please forgive me" he says before I had a chance to answer My chemistry teacher tells me "Ashley come here" "Yes?" I asked wondering what I did wrong "The hospital has called and they said your mother in a terrible condition" he says "What?" I ask as tear blur my eyes "They said her heart rate died but they got her bac-" before he replied I ran out of the classroom ignoring everyone calls except for Jacob's I listened to his but I didn't stop running.
