Sarah opened her eyes. She must have fallen asleep after this horrible evening. She looked at her arm, it was full of dried blood. Her whole bed, where her arm lied, had also turned red. Slowly she got up and looked at her clock which was hanging in her room. It said it was 11 pm. She must have slept for at least 4 hours. Sarah stumbled to the bathroom, to clean her fresh cuts she made this evening. She put the light of the bathroom on and then she saw how bad her cuts were. She has done worse, but that has already been months ago. It was a long while ago she had been cutting this bad. Not that she cared about it. She could never stay clean longer than two weeks. Even when her saver and hero, Demi Lovato, got her through a lot of bad and hard times... She just can't stop cutting.
Her alarm went off. Time to get up, for a horrible school day again. Sarah put her alarm off, which was of course a song of Demi Lovato. She has been waiting for years to finally go to a concert of her idol. But she never got a change. Or she was on vacation, or her parents didn't allow her. But Sarah knows, if Demi will come next time nearby where she lives; she will definitely go and not let that chance pass by again. Now that she's sixteen it's definitely time to see her live. Sarah stood up, as a zombie, out of her bed and walked slowly to the bathroom. She put the shower on and got under it. She was thinking about her best friend. Yesterday her best friend texted Sarah that she had to tell her something. And like Sarah already thought, it was just boy stuff. Like if she cares about her best friends boy 'problems'. Of course she wants to help, but Sarah can't really help her when she's having so much stuff on her mind herself. Her fresh cuts were burning under the shower. They didn't look really good. She got out of the shower and dried herself, and tried to dry her arm carefully. She walked back to her room and looked in the big mirror which was hanging on her wall. All she saw was this fat ugly worthless person again. Her thoughts were getting bad again. She thought about her idol and that she had to stay strong. Fast she walked away and put some clothes on. Her favorite underwear, blue skinny jeans and a black long sleeve sweater. She always felt comfortable in it. She looked at her clock again, it was 7 am. Thirty minutes left before she had to leave the house.
Just on time for her train. The train traveling was boring this time. There were no fun things to do on her phone and she didn't want to think because her thoughts would come. And she didn't want that. So she just listened to her favorite music. The trip went by fast.
"Hey Lana", Sarah said when she saw her best friend standing. Together they walked to their first class; Spanish. Sarah liked Spanish, it was almost one of the only subjects she got kind of good grades in. Spanish class went by fast and soon they were moving already to their next class. Maths. Sarah hated maths so much. She's so bad in it. "Okay everyone! Silence please! I need to introduce someone to you all. This is Dave. He's new on this school. He will be in your maths class. So be nice to him all!", the teacher said. "He's cute", Lana said. Sarah wasn't even paying attention. She didn't even look for a second at him. Lana noticed and said, "Sarah please just look! I'm sure you'll think the same". "Okay okay, I will look", Sarah replied. She looked up high from her paper she was writing on, and saw him sitting. He had really nice dark eyes, brown hair and was wearing nice clothes. "Uhm Sarah, maybe you should close your mouth while watching", Lana said, "I told you...". Sarah looked at her best friend and nodded. Her best friend was right this time. He was really cute. But such a cute and good looking boy will never like you, the voices in her head were telling her that. Of course, I forgot that. Nobody will ever like me, were Sarah her thoughts.
