The day went by fast. The two best friends found out they are also with Geography in the same class as Dave. Sarah and Lana decided to go into town after their school day.

"Oh but Sarah I saw an amazing skirt for you! You should really try it on. Please? I'm sure you will love it." Sarah liked skirts, that's true. But since she started cutting two years ago she almost never wore skirts again. She was too afraid that people would see her cuts or scars. Understandable. "I don't know..." "Oh come on Sarah. You could at least look at it in the store." That's true. Sarah could look at it. She wasn't required to really try it on. "Okay okay. We will just go to the store but I'm not promising you I will try it on." 'Of course I'm not going to try it on. But Lana doesn't know that so it's all okay', were Sarah her thoughts. They walked to the store, it was the biggest one of that company in the whole town. It was the favorite store of Lana, because there were a lot of short clothes. Sarah is not really the type for that kind of clothes. "Okay follow me Sarah", Lana said with an overbearing tone. Sarah followed. Of course? What could she do else. "Uhmm it was here somewhere..." Sarah looked at the way Lana was searching. It looked pretty funny, like Lana was a stylist for Sarah. "Ahh here it is! Look Sarah! Isn't it amazing?" Sarah looked at it. Lana was right, Sarah really liked the skirt. Shit, was Sarah her thought, she was hoping she wouldn't like it so she wouldn't have to lie to her best friend. Now she had to lie that she didn't like it while she was really loving the skirt. 'Stupid scars. Why am I this way?' was Sarah thinking. "Hello Sarah? Are you going to say anything today? Or are you going to wait a week before you're going to tell me what you think of this skirt?" Lana 'woke' her up from her thoughts. Sarah didn't notice she hadn't replied to Lana yet. "Uhm well..." "Yes? What? You're not going to tell me you don't like it, are you?" Sarah nodded, "I'm sorry Lana. I just don't like the colour and the..." She couldn't even finish her sentence or Lana was already talking again. "WHAT? Sarah how can you not like this? This is absolutely you're thing!" Sarah keeped silent. "At least try it on." What did Sarah have to say now? "I just don't like it, okay? I'm sorry." Sarah said while walking away from Lana who was still having the green skirt in her hands. Lana threw the skirt back on the other clothes and chased Sarah. "Sarah wait! I'm not mad or something. I just thought you would like it..." "It's okay", Sarah replied. "I just don't like the skirt. Maybe I would have liked it two years ago but not now anymore." "Okay Sarah. Shall we look further in the store or do you want to go to another store?" Actually Sarah couldn't care about it. All she wanted to do was cry. "I don't mind, if you want to look further here; do your thing", she tried to say it with a smile on her face. "Is there something wrong?" Lana asked. "No, no, I'm fine!" She smiled again. At least, she tried to. She even tried harder this time. "Are you sure?" Lana came closer. "Yes", she replied to Lana. "Okay, well I only want to look at the jeans here. Is that okay?" "Sure, we are here to shop right?" And Sarah followed Lana, again.

It seemed hours for Sarah. Lana didn't stop trying on jeans. It seemed she had to fit every jeans that was in the store on herself. Sarah was so bored. It was already 4pm. When they came into the store it was just 1:45 pm. "And how is this one?" Lana appeared from the fitting room and stood before Sarah. "Is this jeans better than the other one?" Sarah thought, 'Which other one? Better? They are all good but you just can't choose. You tried on like thirty different jeans. Better than which one? Just choose. All I want to do is go home and cry'. But of course she didn't say any of these things. Instead she said, "It's a really nice jeans. But they are all very nice. Can't you just choose one Lana? We are already here for two hours and I'm actually really tired." "Oh. You also could have said that earlier", it sounded mean, how Lana spoke out that words. Sarah didn't really care at that moment. "I didn't want to be mean. But if you don't mind I want to go home now..." "Okay fine. I will see you tomorrow on school." "Are you not coming with me?", Sarah asked Lana. "Well I have to go to the cash desk and pay for this one. So I don't know if you want to wait for me till I'm done at the cash. You don't  have to wait for me, you waited long enough." "Are you sure?" "Yes I'm sure. Don't worry. I'll see you in school tomorrow!" "Okay, bye!" "Bye", Lana said.

Sarah walked out of the store, alone. Finally, fresh air. She could use that right now. 'Hmm it's 4:04 right now. Maybe I can still catch my train which is leaving 4:17.' were her thoughts. Sarah started walking faster. She still had a while to walk. If she wanted to catch her train she had to walk pretty fast. She was looking at her phone while almost being at the station. Then someone walked against her, or she against that someone. "Oh I'm sorry girl. Are you okay?" She was laying on the ground and looked up to see who the person was who was talking to her. "Uhm yes. I'm fine", she said, while looking up.
