I wake up to my phone ringing. I groan and grab the phone, and put it by my ear.

"Hello?" I yawn.

"Sky!!! It's almost 7:30." Heather's cheery voice rings through the phone.

"Ugh.... I'm getting up..." I say lazily and hang up on her.

I get out of my cozy bed and walk into the bathroom. I take a nice, warm shower and exit the bathroom. I just get dressed in a simple gray crew neck and jeans. I pull on my black Vans and dry my plain, light brown hair. I tie them back with a hair tie.

I rush out of my house after grabbing my bag. I don't bother saying good-bye to my family... They aren't my real one anyway.

I had just closed the front door behind me when I see him. I had only heard about him from Mother. He just moved here from England, and he must be extremely rich since he moved here all by himself, in his own house.

I stare at him, and take in his appearance. Long, skinny legs, and muscular upper body. He was gorgeous, even from afar. I had to admit it. Finn... I think. I snap out of my thoughts and shake m head. No. He's not Finn.

I look at him and wave. He just looks down and ignores me.

I shrug and get in my car, and so does he. I drive away. I stop by Starbucks to get a latte and a cookie. I get one more latte and cookie for Heather. I pick her up and we drove to school.

I park in the parking lot. We get off the car. Beside me, I hear Heather gasp softly. I look at her strangely and follow her gaze.

Oh.

The school football captain, Zayn Malik.

He looks breathtaking as usual, in his jersey. I roll my eyes. Bright, flashy and famous is not my thing. Girls squeal and gather around him. Heather tries to join them, but I pull at her shirt sleeve.

It always seemed like Zayn had this magnetic force that drew girls in. But not me, I was pretty much the opposite. I wanted to stay away from boys.

__________

Lunch time came finally, and Heather and I join our other friend, Beth. Her name is actually Elizabeth but she absolutely hates it. It is probably because her mom's name is Elizabeth, but she ran away when the poor girl was only 6.

"Hey Skyler." Beth says, softly waving.

"Hi, Beth." I smile and sit beside her with my tray full of food.

Heather sits on the other side of Beth.

I was just about to grab my sandwich, then I felt a hand tug at my hair elastic. My hair came tumbling down and they covered my face. Irritated, I push it behind my ear and turn toward... Zayn.

"May I help you?" I ask him. He smirks and sits down. He puts his bum beside my tray and his feet on the cafeteria stools. I stop myself from rolling my eyes.

"So, we were wondering, if uhh... You would come to my party tonight." Zayn smiled his dazzling smile.

I shook my head and picked up my fork. I hear people mumbling and gasping.

"Why not, baby?" Zayn whines and reaches to touch my hair. I stiffen and stand up, causing my cup to fall and spilling water everywhere.

"Please don't touch me." I warn him and rush to the bathroom.

I wash my hands and face. I walk out of the bathroom, wiping my hands onto my jeans. I was looking down, so I didn't notice somebody coming towards me. I bump into a black sweater, covering a hard chest.

"Ouch." I look up to say sorry. I hear myself draw in a sharp breath as I see the figure in front of me.

It was the new boy... The one who just moved into my neighborhood, and now, seeing his face so up close, I could see Finn in his features. Gorgeous eyes and beautiful lips.

His green eyes stared down at me. I haven't noticed how green his eyes were this morning. It seemed to draw me in, hypnotizing me. Emerald green, a beautiful color for such a dazzling boy.

"I... Sorry." I feel my cheeks turn hot. He studies me, as if I was the hardest question on his math test.

He takes his right hand out of his jean pocket and opens his hand. A black elastic sat on his huge hand, ready to be used.

I take the elastic, and tie my hair up again. He looks up and starts walking. I started to walk, then turned around to say a thank you to him. But he was gone.

I frown, the girls bathrooms were at the very end of the school, and there was no classroom or anything nearby that he could disappear into.

I sigh and shake my head. I must be going crazy.

__________

My next class was math. I walked into the classroom and saw new boy there. I sit beside him, at the very back corner of the classroom.

"Thank you." I whisper to him. He doesn't even look at me. He just nods.

"Hello class. Please open up your books to page 135, please." The math teacher, Ms. Marc says.

At the end of math class, Ms. Marc calls the new boy over to her desk. I wish I could stay so I could listen to what she was saying to him, but I had to get to next class quickly.

The last class, I had Spanish. The teacher comes in and smiles.

I sat beside Heather, this was the only class I had with her this semester.

I notice Zayn as well, sitting at the back. He smirks and winks at me. He picks up something and waves it in front of his face. My elastic. I didn't care. I had the new boy's now.

Speaking of... He enters the classroom looking like his usual self. I look up at him and smile. He gives me a nod, and makes eye contact with me. I feel a shiver run up my body.

The teacher starts talking in the foreign language. I ignore the him, and doodle on my paper, writing silly things. My hair slowly starts to hurt from using the tight elastic. I take it out, and slip it on my wrist. I ruffle my hair.

I notice something like a pattern on the elastic. I look closely, and there are pretty swirls and flowers on the small black elastic. I get distracted and start to draw the patterns that were on the elastic. It looked pretty as a bracelet, as well. I smiled down at it.

I hear the bell ring, signaling the day over. I pull out my books from my desk and gather them up. I stood up and as I was about to go through the door, Zayn and his friends block me.

I look up at him and try to move past him. He blocks me from going right. I moved left, and he moved to his right.

"Zayn," I whisper. "Can I go, please? You're holding up the class." I say as I hear quiet complaints from behind me. Zayn's friends, football players, of course, glare at them and they shut up. I feel Heather's hand brush mine and she gives me a squeeze.

"Move." I hear a deep, husky voice say above me.

I turn my head, and I see the new boy. His voice drew me in, just like his eyes. It almost made me melt.

"Excuse me?" One of Zayn's friend says.

"Move." He said again and I swear I saw his eyes gleam a strange, unusual color. Silver.

"Geez, man. Don't be so angry." Zayn moves out of my way. I shift a bit, and a hand gives me a gentle push out of the class.

Kids spill out of the room and when I look back to look for the boy, he is gone.

Again.
