It should have been a common day for Gild, spending his time with Lia, her beautiful girlfriend. But something went wrong that day. As he and her were in a pool, Tanaka rushes in, saying that someone has been killed. Gild and Lia dressed up and rushed to the party. As Gild found out who was the killer, and then he killed the killer, he came back to Lia. As they hugged, her ex-boyfriend popped up, mocking him. He turned first his legs to gold, then his belly, then his chest and arms. Eceryone stared in shock at the scene, as the guy was turning into gold. Gild smirked and finished to turn him in a gold statue. Lia was going out, but Gild managed to stop her.
-Lia-! Where are you going-!?-
-Away from you, you monster!-
She angrily walked away, staying on a bench a bit far. Gild fell on his knees, as tears started to flow. His pair of white wings started to break down, turning into molten gold, part of his body was also breaking down. He cried, screaming, pleading for Lia to be back. But... she didn't came. His screames filled the room, Baccarat and Dice managed to find him... crying, almost dissolving into gold, as parts of his arms, legs, body, were literally dissolving into molten gold, his tears mixing to the gold at his knees. He screamed, pleading Lia to come back, his troath burning from the screams. Tanaka went near Lia.
-Lia... can you hear him?-
-who?-
-the boss. If you hear carefully, you can hear him cry...-
-CRY!? How can he cry if he is so merciless?! Serina was right about him! He has no heart!-

Tanaka brought Lia near the room where Gild was.

Lia entered the room... to find Gild dissolving, breaking down piece by piece, he lost all of his body colors. Even his eyes, his blue eyes like the waves of the sea, became gray. He died inside, and so all his body colors did. He notices Lia, but he didn't said anything. Her Ex went near her, trying to persuade her to get away from him. But at the scene... she couldn't see Gild that way. Her words striked trough Gild's heart, and it was her who killed him. Not the Navy, not the Governament, not the Straw Hats. It was her fault if he was in this state. And she couldn't bare to see him like that any more second. She hugged him, crying.
-Tesoro I'm sorry!! I'm so sorry!!! It was my fault!

At those words, it was like Gild regained some hope, as his eyes regained color, but the next second the color faded away. -You said I'm a monster... that you want to go... go then... I freed your ex... you're free... go... isn't that what you wanted...?- he said, in a tone that not even her could think it could do. He was... so pitful... he managed to regain his whole body back, and to regain all of his colors. But as he looked at her... he said:

She smiled, as she knew exactly her answer to his question:
-Yes Gild...
