"I'm sorry but being so far from you hurts...I can't do this anymore Zoe" My boyfriend Christian said as a single tear streamed down my cheek

"You're seriously breaking up with me?" I began to choke

"You live all the way in Canada, I never get to see you and it's not like you want to come down here" I chuckled

"I try Christian but I can't afford the tickets. I'm sorry I'm not able to be there for you. I guess it's goodbye?" I asked as he sighed through the phone

"For now,but if you ever find yourself in Arizona, stop by"

I hung up and balled myself and began to cry

'Don't do this to yourself Zoe' I thought to myself, I pulled out my laptop and went to purchase tickets for a flight to Arizona and A game ticket. Christian bitched about not coming down but I was just trying to say money to see him, if he wanted me in arizona he should've paid for the trip himself.

A few days later

I began walking up to the Gila River Arena wearing my Dvorak Jersey, slightly nervous I went down to the glass to sit down at my seat, row 1 seat 7; right in front of the glass.

The arena Howled as the boys ran out of the tunnel for practice, I began to name them as they came out.

"Murphy, Chychrun, Domi, Doan, Perlini, and Dvo" I mutter to myself, the boys skated and I couldn't keep my eyes off of number 18.

As he came around he locked eyes with me and slightly smiled, I smiled back and he chuckled. Every time he came around he'd stare at me as if I was the only fan in the world.

The timer began to tick down and Christian stopped right in front of me, throwing a puck over he mouthed

"I love you" and smiled skating away.

After the game

"Ma'am, Christian Dvorak would like to see you in the locker room" a man said as he approached me

"Uh sure" I followed the gentleman into the locker room

"Zoe" Christian ran and engulfed me in a hug

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know what I was thinking...will you please be my girlfriend again?"

I smiled and nodded

"Yes"
