“Kai, Bro like get out the bathroom! You've been checking yourself out for the past half-hour and I need to pee!” Jay whined, banging on the door.

“Alright! Alright! I'm leaving now.” tsked Kai, and shot himself a wink before wrapping the towel around his waist and finally leaving the bathroom. Jay shoved him out the way, despite being one of the members with little muscle; did it with great force in which Kai fell on his ass.

The poor boy had been waiting for awhile, so often course he'd move quickly.

“Kai,” Garmadon beckoned, stepping out of the kitchen with a more warning like anxious tone. “shouldn't you be using your time for a more- productive purpose?”

The fire elemental gave a lazy smirk “but looking good for the ladies is important sensei.” he ruffled his hair, before heading to the training room.

“While I admit he needs to focus more brother, he is but a teenager. He will make mistakes and he will learn from them.” While Garmadon knew his brother was right, he still worried. These are the men who take care of his son.

According to several 9-1-1 calls, there's a very big fire downtown in New Ninjago. It's wild and spreading quickly, police and the fire department are doing all they can to put out, but there efforts seem to be in vain. Many people are in danger, houses are being destroyed. These ninja always seem to pop out when Ninjago needs them most. Ninja where are you?!” Chad, the news reported exasperated. The news had abruptly shown on every screen possible in Ninjago, in hopes of signaling the six heroes. But the ninja had already been heading down to the fire.

“Oh thank spinjitzu you're here! We still have the top three floors with rooms that need to be cleared out. Rooms thirty-eight, forty-nine, and thirty-two might be trickier.”

“Kai, Zane, Cole. You three will rescue the civilians while Jay, Lloyd, Nya, and I will search for the source and attempt to put it out.”

“NINJA GO!!”

Most of the civilians had already been cleared out, the three rooms had been a little trickier. But the last room was probably the trickiest. Zane, had attempted to put the fire out, but the fire only fueled more and became bigger.

“Kai! Looks like this is up to you!” Cole yelled, taking a little girl in his arms running towards the exit.

Unable to successfully put the fire out, they'd broken down the door to search for the last remaining civilian. They'd found them close to the corner of their bed,  {insert pet} had been trying to wake them up. Hair sprawled across their face, soot staining their face and clothes, along with their dogs fur.

Kai had scooped them up in his arms while Zane took the dog. “All exits besides the window are blocked. we're going to have to take the fire escape half-way and then jump. I'll go first.” Zane hurriedly headed to the window climbing out with Kai following suit.

After the two had gotten out, half of the building- the part they'd come out of had collapsed. They'd barely made it.

“(Y/N)! Oh my god, thank you, thank you, thank you!” A bluenette female took his hands in hers, thanking him graciously while a blonde had kissed the unconscious bodies’ forehead.

“It's not a problem really!” Kai smiled, feigning bashfulness and shyness.

“Dude, seriously thank you. We owe you a lot.”

“Nah, just glad to help. Just take of them and the dog, and you've repaid me.”

“We absolutely will thank you! Let's go Carlos!” The bluenette smiled, before boarding the ambulance which Kai assumed with her brother (s?) And/or sister.
