I lick my cracked lips and stare at the area in front of me, a large farming area full of livestock and crops is just calling out to me with its wide range of juicy fruits and vegetables. I begin to slowly walk forward, not wanting to startle the animals and wake up whoever i can vaguely see that is asleep in the barn.
I quietly make my way through the herds of animals and start to open my bag as I near the crops. I begin to grab some tomato's, strawberries, carrots, lettuce, potatoes and apples.I close my bag and securely tie it up. I get startled by a hand grabbing my shoulder, a deep voice whispered into my ear "What do you think your doing?"
They grab my arm and forcefully pull me to my feet and drag me over to the barn, i make a huge thud noise as I get chucked against a wall. He roughly grabs onto my shoulders and lifts me up against the wall so that we're eye to eye."What do you think you were doing?" He begins to question, "Why do you think you can just steal someone else's work?" a dull little lamp above me faintly lights some of his face, he looks quite young, in his early 20's maybe? Too young to own land like this and he's stronger than he looks, maybe Fort 15 V trained?
I look at him more, only now noticing how dirty his face is, his messy black hair and his bright green eyes have deep bags under them, so probably not here as a guard. I hope my hunch is right. "Why were you sleeping in the barn."
"What?" He looks kind of taken aback that I questioned him back, he pushed my shoulder harder into the wall "I'm an employed prisoner from fort 20 Z."
Yes, prisoner. 20 Z is so serious for how young he is though, I should be careful."Well, how about you let me go and you can come with me? I live about 2 days walk away," I question looking quickly to my shoulder than back at his face "and I have cake."
He lets go of me and I drop to my feet, I didn't know how tall he was until I had to look up at him.
"My names Daniel." I smile up at him,
"I'm Rin."
