Chapter 3 ~An old friend~

My body felt heavy, breathing was really difficult, pain shoot throughout all my body, my senses were off, I could feel a gentle, jet firm, grip on my hand.

Slowly my hearing came back, and detected small snores, a calmed respiration was heard by my side.

I opened my eyes, the light making me shut them again, I tried once more, my sight a little fuzzy, I adjust to the light this time, I turned my head to the side, a mop of blond hair greeted my sight, that bland hair was unmistakable, it could only belong to the one and only Link, hero of time.

Trying not to wait him up, I move to a sitting position, pain washing all my body, a small grunt leaves my mouth, but it wasn't loud enough to wake up Link, I turned to him, griped his hand, and with my free hand I started to pet his head.

-Link... Wake up lazy head- I whispered, he started to move slowly, he got up, sleepy still, he looked at me a little confused.

-You'd a rough day, hadn't you?- I said, his eyes sparked with a memory.

~Flashback~

-Why do you always have to interfere in my businesses!!! I can handle my own!!!-

An angry Zelda shouted at the blond boy, while making her way to her room, fueled by the anger, she smaked the door closed, leaving a confused hero outside.

-Don't worry Link, it will take her time to open up to you, just be patient-

I said, walking slowly towards Link, he looked at me, relieve came across his face.

-She didn't mean that, she is just mad because her father thinks she can't be alone, I understand the worrybof her father but he should let her have her space, I will start to travel with both of you, I am the only mutual friend , so maybe she will open up to you if I make her feel comfortable around you. We are childhood friends after all, aren't we?

I told him, with a small smile in my face.
