Chapter 11 ~A look to the Past~

I wasn't ready to see the horrible things at the other side of the portal, I tightened my grip on Sidon's hand.

We walked to the door that lead to the town, the once red trees were now completely dead, there were no flowers, and the grass was a burned brown.

Soon we arrived to the town, my lips trembled at the sight, all was burnt down to ashes, and the few houses that weren't were crumbled.

-Are you sure you want to continue? We can just go back my dear.- Sidon asked turning to lock his eyes with me.

I maintained the look, tears at the corner of my eyes, he moved his other hand to clean the tears that where falling, at that moment I lost it, my knees collided with the cobbler stone ground, Sidon embraced me.

He whispered all kind of sweet things to my ear, running his hand softly through my hair, I rested my head in his chest.

It took me time to calm down, but Sidon never left me, he continued to embrace me.

-We can't go, we need to continue, I will be fine- I said still resting in his chest.

- Are you sure?- He asked in a low tone.

I lifted my face up, to look at him, his eyes showed concern and so much love, I'm sure my eyes mirrored the same feeling.

-Would you like to see how it was before?- I asked him.

He whispered a soft yes, and with that I cupped his face softly with my hands, I got closer to his face never leaving his eyes.

I swear a tint if red dusted his face, I got even closer, with closed eyes I lowered his head, softly saying some words, and closed the gap between us by placing my forehead against his.

~ Flashback ~
Sidon's POV.

A few steps ahead was a fountain, a wolf and a fox sitting at the top, I lowered my sight and saw a small girl with (h/c) and (s/c). She seemed to be waiting for someone.

She didn't care about the other kids playing around her, she just continued looking around.

I turned to see the town, everything was so calm, people working or talking between them, the small houses looked so cozy.

Everything seemed to be in an eternal autumn, leaves red and orange, some dancing in the trees and some falling down.

- Ready (N/N)? We can't keep Erian waiting- a young woman's voice grabbed my attention, he was at the fountain talking to the girl, wait this girl was (Y/N).
