Ryder stormed off, probably to the cliff. Most likely the cliff. Instead of following him, I just took a shortcut. I ran through the tall grass beside the cliff, and in all his glory, there was Ryder sitting there. Don't ask how I got there exactly, I just ran through some grass. The sun was setting, the sky looked like a mix of orange and purple. I snuck up behind him on the cliff until I was standing behind him. "Hi," I said. He turned around, and smiled softly, making me feel all mushy."Hi," he responded. I sat down beside him, and we watched the sunset. The birds were chirping and flying around, Ryder's arm was around me. It all felt natural, honestly.
"I never knew you were still depressed, but I guess I should've known. I mean, your brother just died," I said playing with my hands. "Of course you'd be depressed." I looked down at my hands.
"Depression doesn't really go away," Ryder responded. "It's more of putting into the back of your mind, and when insecurities come up, depression's your best friend." I looked at him.
"I'm sorry. Sometimes I'm so inconsiderate, and all I care about is myself."
"Don't beat yourself up about it," Ryder said with a smile. The sound of cars alarmed us, immediately we turned around, but it was only the guys. Blake popped his trunk, and started bringing out cases of beers while Ash started blasting some music. Tristan came out of Blake's truck, and looked over at us with a smile.
"Let's go swimming!" He yelled, and we all cheered. I really couldn't go swimming because I didn't have my swimsuit with me. But Atlanta suddenly appeared, and had two bikinis in her hand. Ryder and I ran down from the cliff, and I immediately went to Atlanta. She smiled at me, and handed me a bikini. I guess it was a new one because of the price tag. She nervously looked over her shoulder. I raised my eyebrow, that was a sign to be on my toes. I went behind a tree, and changed. I gave my dress to Blake, and he put it in his trunk. Blake was about to go into the water, but I grabbed his bicep.
"Something's wrong with Atlanta," I said. "Keep a lookout."
"I'll have some of my friends make sure to check anything that seems suspicious," Blake said nodding. I nodded, and went by the shore, I guess where I slipped off my shoes. Ryder and the guys were already in, they were talking about something while laughing. It was good to laugh, especially on a day like this. I sat down, and dipped my toes in the water. Atlanta wasn't in the water yet, she was behind a tree nearby talking on the phone. I overheard her conversation.
"What time are you coming here?" Atlanta whispered into her phone. "You need to hurry, I think she's on to me." I couldn't hear the voice on the other line. Ryder tugged my hand, trying to bring me into the water. I gave him a look that said shush, and he raided an eyebrow. I discreetly pointed back to Atlanta who was still on the phone. He nodded, and swam away.
"I'll make sure of it," Atlanta whispered. "What time?" Atlanta mumbled more things into her cellphone before hanging up. So she was planning something against me, huh? I'll see about that. Atlanta came over, and grinned.
"Hey! Let's get in!"
"Yeah, sure."

We just got home, and Atlanta just informed that Luke would be coming over. I'm livid, pissed, angry, mad and any other synonyms of anger. She can't just invite my ex boyfriend, who by the way is crazy, over to my house. We literally walked right through the door, and I already noticed something was up. She was trying to fix herself up, putting on makeup and asking to borrow my leather jacket. Of course I refused, my leather jacket is my child.
"Why not?" Atlanta groaned. "You aren't wearing it!" She grabbed it from the hook, and threw it over her shoulders while checking out her little red dress in the mirror. I snatched it from her shoulders, my patience was running thin. She had to go, like seriously get out.
"Don't touch my stuff," I growled. "And Luke is not stepping foot into my house." I threw my jacket back onto it's hook, and kicked off my shoes. I needed to change out of this dress, I had a feeling I might need to fight today. I began walking up the stairs, when all of a sudden Atlanta said something underneath her breath.
"Just because you've found the love of your life, doesn't mean I have," Atlanta mumbled fluffing her hair. I stood on the top of the stairs, struggling to keep myself from running back down the stairs and beating her ass.
"I couldn't hear you bitch," I yelled.
"I wasn't talking to you," Atlanta said rolling her eyes. The guys were on the couch, and they 'ooh'ed.
"I'll be back," I said before I went down the hall to my room. I stripped off the dress, and threw on a t-shirts with some sweatpants. I put on my favorite green socks, and walked back downstairs just as the doorbell rang. Atlanta wore an extremely short dress, high heels, and tons of makeup with her hair in big curls. She looked like a hooker, honestly. She went to answer the door, but I slid in front of it.
"Move!" She growled.
"This is my house, don't get dragged out of it," I warned and stood with my back on the door.
"Audrey nobody's kidding around, move out of the way!" She grabbed my arm. I balled up my other fist and punched her in her face. She reeled back, and I cracked my knuckles just as bullets lit up my house. I grabbed her hair and dropped to the floor just like everyone else as we waited for the bullets to stop. My heart was in my throat, I prayed we all would be fine. I couldn't lose anyone else, well, I could lose Atlanta. Atlanta screamed, I yanked her hair harder which was a sign to shut the fuck up. She didn't, and I smacked her head while laying flat on my stomach.
That shut her up.
