"What the hell do you mean he was kidnapped?" I exclaim."He got kidnapped, I don't know what other way to say this!" Erwin repeated with a sigh.
"How?" Blake asked. Erwin and him shared a look, a look that said 'shut your damn mouth, we know something she doesn't.' I didn't like that look one bit.
"What? What is it I don't know?" I asked them, my curiosity going up by the second. Blake sighed, and just decided to flat out tell me.
"Remember Milo?" Blake started off, "Well it seems that he and our boss have reconnected somehow, and he was set up. They've been meeting up for an hour every week, so I guess they decided to set him up. A man as smart as him should fucking know he can never trust an enemy!" Blake banged his hands on the table, and everyone stopped their conversations. It was a bit overwhelming to take in all this information. And a bit suspicious. I mean, our boss knew better than to ever reconnect with an enemy. So what really happened, is the mystery here.
"Fuck are you looking at?" I growled at everyone, immediately they started up their conversations again. Ryder put a hand on top of mines, interlocking our fingers. I looked at him, and he gave me a gentle smile.
"It's alright, calm down. Everything's going to be fine," Ryder said soothingly. I sighed, and squeezed his hand softly. Just why? Why? I didn't get to ponder over the question, because the door opened, and everyone stopped their conversations again. I was surprised to see that it was a tall, handsome man that looked around 21. He had blonde hair that came from a bottle, and his roots were brown. He had tattoos on his arms, and he had a nose ring. He had a strong jawline too. Ryder's head snapped to him, and Ryder just lost it.
"You stole Claire from me. And to think, I called you one of my bros. Worst decision I ever made." The boy chuckled humorlessly, walking slowly to Ryder. The table fell silent, trying to remember where the hell we saw him from, or if we even saw him. He wasn't ringing any bells. Obviously, he knew Ryder by some tie, so I decided to play it cool. Ryder tensed.
"No, you were another one of her victims." Ryder stood up, his full height, which was the exact same as the mystery boy. The mystery boy looked over at me, up and down, and licked his lips what was supposed to be 'sexy'.
"Hey pretty thing," he smirked. I scowled.
"Bye monster."
"Your clothes are 100% off at my place, just saying."
"Oh is that right?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Yep."
"It's a shame your broke ass can't afford to give out prices instead of STDs." I chuckled. He flared his nostrils at me angrily.
"Bitch!"
"Yeah, I'm a bad one. I know." I rolled my eyes, and the boy walked too close until Ryder shoved him backwards.
"Don't come near her." Ryder warned. The boy laughed.
"She's your girlfriend?" The boy said.
"Yes she is. Got a problem?" Ryder snorted. The boy frowned at Ryder, and they had a stare down for a few seconds, until the boy had tears in his eyes. The next words that came out of his mouth, shocked me completely.
"I love Claire, more than you ever will know. I think about her everyday, and every night. Don't you dare tell me I was a victim, I know she felt the spark and connection we had. So here's a word of advice, from your good old friend Peter," Peter said. So that's his name, huh, doesn't seem like a peter. "The next time you wanna be big, bad and tough, make sure you don't kiss someone else's girlfriend." Peter walked out after that.
