One of the figures was Calypso's, but the other figure I couldn't make out. It was tall and muscular. Definitely Masculine.

It couldn't be...

I got a better look at them. They were leaning against a nearby tree, and they seemed to be laughing.

"I know, I know," The Boy said, "I probably should have just stabbed the Hydra from the inside, but it seemed more entertaining to burst it's bladder."

"Eww!" Calypso said, resting her head on The Boy's shoulder.

"Oh, that reminds me," the boy said reaching into his pocket, "I wanted to give you this."

He pulled out a silver necklace with a little crystal on the end of it and put it around Calypso's neck.

The handy work on the necklace was so sloppy I'm surprised she even accepted it.

"Aw, James! This is so beautiful," Calypso said gazing at the necklace.

"Just like you," James said and gave her a small kiss on the cheek. Calypso then accepted the kiss and gave him a full-contact one.

My. Heart. Died.

I sank deeper into the bushes, not even wanting to hear their conversation any more. I couldn't believe Calypso could just do that to me. Didn't she remember me?

Finally I heard James say goodnight to Calypso, and he left. I couldn't just stay in the bushes any longer so I stepped out, revealing myself to Calypso.

She gasped, "Oh my gods, Leo!"

She didn't come forward to hug me or anything, she just kinda stood their staring at me like I was a complete horror.

"You seem pretty happy on this island, don't you?" I said angrily.

"Leo, I'm sorry it's just," she sighed, "My curse! And I-I-"

"I understand," I said, turning to leave her, "They send you a hero you have to love," I paused, "I guess I'm not that person."

With that, I left.
