rodney. (cydney's farther)

Rodney was in his office at the church just handling business like alway on the week days.

A few knocks approached his door.

"Come in."

the door opened and the person came in.

"Bout time your ass came by to see me." Rodney stood up going to his vault.

"Man, I didn't even wanna do this shit in the first place."

Rodney chuckled grabbing a stack of money.

"Here." He threw the money at the boy.

Before the boy walked away he decided to ask Rodney questions.

"Why you doing all of this?"

"Because I don't want Cydney to get hurt-"

"But you startin' to abuse her."

"Rakim get out I don't have time. You do your part and I do mines nigga." Rodney shot back.

Rakim began chuckling.

"You cussing in the house of god and you suppose to be a preacher." Rakim closed the door behind him.

Cydney and Lucas decided to come with Aiyanna for her doctor's appointment.

When Cydney and Lucas got around each other it would be weird for them.

"Cydney."

"Yeah." She looked up from her phone.

"We're cousins huh." He chuckled.

Cydney rolled her eyes not even wanting to think of Lucas as her cousin.

She's kissed him and thought about having a relationship with him.

It was weird.

"Yeah we are." She mumbled.

Aiyanna finally came back.

Rakim was at the mall doing a little shopping but also doing his job.

"Rakim?"

He turned around facing Cydney.

"Lil mama." He smiled and gave her a hug.

"What are you doing here?"

"Oh just shopping." He shrugged.

"Hmmm baby gap?" She furrowed her eyebrows together.

Rakim didn't tell her about his daughter but that was only because he didn't know what they we're yet.

"Yeah for my lil cousins." He lied.

"Oh, that's cute." She smiled.

"Cydney!" Lucas and Aiyanna yelled.

Cydney rolled her eyes.

"Damn I wanna talk to Rakim." She mumbled.

"I'll talk to you later lil mama." He gave her a hug.

"Okay."

Cydney walked back over to Lucas and Aiyanna.

"Who's that?" Aiyanna asked.

"Yeah who that is?" Lucas barged in.

"A friend, why y'all so pressed?"

"Nigga look grown as hell. He fine tho." Aiyanna shrugged.

"Yeah too grown, you my blood so I gotta protect you just like this gremlin." Lucas pointed at Aiyanna.

Cydney chuckled.

Bearing the thought of her kissing Lucas and having a crush on him.

He was family now.
