- A few days later -

Will's POV

After much discussion about the trip to Hawaii, everyone finally agreed to go. We all got permission from our folks and immediately started to pack everything we would need. Clothes, shoes, underwear, makeup, socks, etc. I had to admit, I was pretty pumped about this trip. It's been awhile since the group has had quality time together. It'll feel nice to spend time with each other. Especially now since we're finally on spring break.

At around midnight, everyone grabbed their belongings, and threw them in the rented RV Garrett and Gwen managed to get. Everyone stayed at my place since it's the biggest house out of all of us. We all agreed to start driving around midnight. Garrett says he's a night owl so he will guide whoever is in charge of driving. We'll all take turns driving. No one in the group trusts Garrett to drive. I think we all know why.

"Alright honey be careful and call us once you get there," my mom said. She hugged herself. It was quite chilly out.

My dad brought me into a hug, "Be careful son, and make sure you and the group are safe. If you need us, just call." I nodded and gave them both a hug. We all climbed into the RV and agreed Gwen would take the first shift of driving. I waved at my parents from the inside of the RV as we pulled out of the parking space, and zoomed off.

"I say we get snacks," Zach said. Everyone agreed with this, so Gwen drove to the nearest gas station.

"You guys go get food, I'll watch the car," Gwen said. We all shrugged and made our way out of the RV. Layla held my hand and I smiled at her. She kissed my cheek and we walked inside the store. It was quite chilly due to the freezers on the side. I grabbed as many snacks as Layla and I could carry, made coffee for the both of us, then finally went over to pay.

"I'll pay," Layla said. I raised an eyebrow and shook my head.

"Uh nono, that's my job. Let me spoil my girl with some delicious gas station foods," she chuckled and rolled her eyes. I pulled out my wallet and forked over the cash, then grabbed the bags and headed out back to the RV.

As we were walking back, I saw a familiar boy standing near one of the gas pumps. I squinted my eyes and realized who it was. I chuckled under my breath and shook my head. He winked at me and gave me a thumbs up while his buddy just stared. I guess he was still upset that I practically kicked his butt for sneaking up on me. Whatever, the guy had it coming. He'll get over it eventually.

Eventually, everyone piled back into the RV, and we were off. Layla was fast asleep on my chest in no time. Zach and Ethan slept on one seat, while Magenta and Cheyenne slept on another. Lash, Speed, and Warren all slept on the floor, and Adeline fell asleep in the back where one room was with a bed. Everyone was pretty much dead except for me, Gwen, and Garrett.

"So what's Hawaii like?" I asked Garrett. He shrugged.

"Pretty sunny almost everyday. The atmosphere is very refreshing and cool. You get an overall good vibe there. You'll have to see for yourself," he said.

Gwen sighed, "I can't wait to get my tan." Garrett burst out laughing.

"You? Tan? BAHAHAH! You'll most likely turn into a tomato rather than a sexy Kardashian!" He chortled. She turned and gave him a look and he immediately went quiet. Jeez, if looks could kill, he would've been dead a long time ago.

I chuckled to myself and rested my head on top of Layla's. This was going to be a looong ride.

...

Adeline's POV

"Ugh, are we there yet?" Zach asked again for the millionth time.

"No," everyone groaned. It's been exactly 2 hours since we left Town, and Zach is already being annoying. After Gwen's hour and a half of driving, she switched places with Speed, and we are going at an extremely fast speed. Everyone was exhausted, but couldn't exactly sleep for long because of the bumps, slow downs, sharp turns, and anything else on the road. I already tried to sleep in the little room in the back, but it didn't help much, so I gave the room to Cheyenne and Magenta. Those two are heavy sleepers, but since we're on the road, they're a little bit lighter than usual.
