Chapter 42

"Then who are you going with?" Ashton asked, angrily.
"Tyler."
There was silence on the other side. I pulled to see if he hung up or what. But no the call didn't end.
"You are not going anywhere with my enemy!" Ashton exclaimed, loudly.
"Enemy?" I wonder.
"Yes, enemy. He wants to steal you away from me. I'm not letting that happen. You are not going anywhere with him." He said, possessively.
I rolled my eyes. "It's nothing like that. He's my best friend."
"No! He has hurt you in the past." He argued. I froze. How did he know? I don't remember mentioning about my past in front of Ashton. How did he find out about it?
"How did you know?" I asked, quietly.
"I don't," Ashton replied, calmly. "But Ryan mentioned that he caused you pain."
I smiled. He cares for me. "It wasn't his fault."
"I don't care," Ashton muttered, stubbornly. "You're not going."
"Ashton, it's fine. I promise."
"Where are you going?" He asked, changing the topic.
"Massy's Diner." I said. Tyler had called again while I was getting ready, asking if Massy's was fine.
"Fine." Then he hung up. I stared at my phone where Ashton ended the call. I gaped like a fish. Did he just hang up on me? Oh! He is so going to pay for that.
"I see the lover boy is angry that you are going out with someone else." Jack amused.
I turned and glared at him. "Tonight, you so are going to pay for this."
"We'll see." He smirked. I showed him the finger and walked out, waiting for Tyler. My phone binged.
I'm outside.
I kept the phone back in my pocket and skipped down the stairs towards Tyler's car. I got in the passenger seat and Tyler drove off.
"Can I ask, why were you shouting on the phone earlier?" Tyler asked.
"I have a boyfriend." I screamed, again.
Tyler winced and shook his head. "You're going to make me deaf."
"I know." I said, excitedly.
"So," Tyler began, wiggling his eyebrows. "Who is the unlucky guy?"
I scoffed when he said unlucky. "Ashton."
"Ashton," he trailed, making me blush red. "Oh! You're blushing." He laughed.
"Shut up." I pushed him a little.
He laughed out loud. "Do I need to have a talk with him?"
"No! Will is doing that already." I said, horrified.
Tyler nodded again. "I bet. Ashton is so going to have it. Anyway, what's the problem with that guy? I've seen him give me sting eye."
I rolled my eyes, remembering what Ashton said earlier. That guy seriously needs a punch. Tyler and I were friends, but that stupid doesn't get that. Now I don't even know what he'll do, since he knows I'm going out with Tyler.
"He thinks that you'll steal me away from him." I muttered.
Tyler looked amused by that. "That guy loves you."
