School's out!

It was the last day of school and Oliver was overjoyed for this day to come. No more homework no more bullies, and no more Neru! She always followed Oliver around with her posy, annoying him to no end.

Oliver tapped his  pencil on his desk as he watched the clock tick bye. Three minutes to go... Two... One...

"Hay, Oliver!" Piko called out.

Piko was Oliver's best friend and he always stood up for him. The white haired boy walked over to where Oliver was sitting and rested his arms on his desk.

"You wanna' hang out after class?" Piko asked, snatching the pencil from Oliver's hand.

"Sorry Piko, I've got some thing I need to work on." Oliver said with a frown.

"No problem" the boy piped up, "There's always another time."

Piko traveled a lot and even though they lived in the Vocaoid mansion together they rarely see each other so turning bro time down was hard. But Oliver had some recording to do with Len and Rin, so he had to.

"Hay Piko." Chirped Neru, her blond pony-tail whipping Oliver in the face.

"Excuse me, we were talking." Oliver said, brushing a stray hair from his delicate face.

"Well now 'we' are talking, thank you very much!" Neru said, shooting Oliver a nasty look.

When the bell rang Oliver stood up and walked by Piko, who Neru was still trying to talk to, with out saying good bye.

He gathered his books from his locker and shut the door. Waiting for him was one of the boys from a school gang that have been bullying him for the past two years.

"Where you going shorty?" The boy mocked.

Oliver backed up a bit, but the boy closed the distance in between them.

Oliver's mind started to panic, "Don't come a step closer!"

"Or else what? You gonna' sick your lame ass bird on me huh? Brit?" The boy taunted.

Oliver looked down, "That's not a nice thing to say to someone."

"Yah- well, it's not nice to have such a stupid gay accent!" The boy pushed Oliver, who fell to the ground.

"Hay! Leave him alone!" Someone called out. It was Len, and thank heavens at that!

"You going to try and stop me pretty boy?" He asked.

"I will only ask you once to leave now." Len threatened.

The boy laughed and threw his fist at Len, which he easily dodged. Len kicked the boy in the stomach, sending the boy rolling across the floor.

Len ignored the bully and walked over to Oliver, "Are you alright, Oliver?" Len asked, extending his hand out to the small boy.

"Y-yes, thank you." Olive took his hand, allowing Len to pull him up to his feet again.

"No problem." Len smiled. Oliver liked it when Len smiled, it was so warm and welcoming, "we should get going, I don't want 'master' to think we were slacking" Len says, looking out the window, the sunlight highlights his hair, making it glow a golden colour. Oliver couldn't help but stare at Len. In fact, he was in a daze, day-dreaming about how beautiful Len was.

Len glanced over at Oliver, who looked like a kid at a cake shop.

"Are you alright?" Len asked, looking around for something that he might be staring at other than him.

"Wah? Oh- umm.." Oliver blushed, not being able to find an excuse, "Y-yah. I'm fine."

The two boys walked home together. Len was in a cooking class for his last school period and they made apple pie that day so when ever a breeze blew by, Oliver took in Len's sweet scent of cinnamon and apple. It made his mouth water just thinking of it.

"You're a bit late." Said a girl with teal pigtails as Oliver and Len walked into the house.

"Sorry mom." Len said, rolling his eyes.

Oliver giggled as the girl glared at Len.

"Sorry Miku." Oliver said, looking down.

"Rin is waiting for you upstairs, you guys." Miku said, starting to leave the room.

"I'll be right there, as soon as I drop my stuff off up in my room." Len sighed.

"Me too." Oliver said, catching up with the blonde.

Len took a right turn half way down the hallway and opened his door, leaving Oliver behind. He didn't care though, he was sure Len had other things to do.

Oliver walked a few doors down and opened his blue painted door with a dal segno sign in the center. A gold finch flew around, exited to see Oliver home from school. Oliver dropped his things on his bed, causing a few stray papers to go flying out. He picked one up off of the ground, it was his school photo, no it was Len's school photo. Now why would he have that picture, and where did he get it. Oliver forgot that he ever had the picture. But he didn't want to be rude so he pinned it up on his bulletin board which healed a few lyrics to some songs he was working on. It fit nicely.

Oliver turned around to find James, his bird, shape-shifted into his human form.

"So, how was your last day of school Ollie?" James asked. putting his arm on Oliver's shoulder.

"It was alright." Oliver said, pushing James's arm off, "No if you will excuse me, I have some work to do." And with that, Oliver left. He walked down the hallway and took a left turn, just before reaching the stairs.

"Oliver!" Rin called out, wrapping her arms around the boy.

"Stop that Rin." Len said in a huffed voice.

"Your just jealous that I get to hug Oliver and you don't" The orange loving twin said, squeezing the life out of Oliver.

"I can hug who ever i want, Rin." Len said, turning his head away.

"Yah- what ever." Rin laughed, pulling up a chair, "Ok, looks like you only have one song left you two... Secret Garden. Hehehe!"

Len blushed, "Not that one."

"Yes- that one." Rin mocked Len's tone.

"Let's get this over with..." He sighs.
