Sweat soaked through my shirt, causing it to cling to my skin. It was uncomfortably hot, and the air was getting thicker and harder to breathe.

"Hey...you still...with me?" Apollon's voice was interrupted by his heavy breathing as everyone's was. The only difference was they all had given up attempting to speak long ago, saving their breath.

"Yeah..." I sat in silence for a bit as I gathered my thoughts. "We're going to die here...aren't we?" There was a few more seconds of quiet before I decided to continue. "The doors are closed...we can't open them...the air-"

My father hurried into our little room, and with him a fresh burst of oxygen in the air. I could already feel my strength returning.

My father knelt down in front of me and just stared at me for a few seconds, his face painted with concern. He quickly pulled me into a tight hug, and with my new found oxygen and strength I was able to hug him back. It was surreal. Just a couple of minutes ago I was convinced I was going to die in this strange place without the only family member I had left, and now here we were. I now knew I was going to live, but there was this fear in the back of my mind making me wonder for how long...
