Chapter 1-Me

Do you ever get that feeling your been watched, that no matter which corner you turn someone is watching you. Yeah well I have got that feeling and have had that feeling for the last two weeks, yet every time I look around no one is there, I'm standing all alone in the hallways or where ever I am.

It all started two week ago when I first started my new high school, my family and I had just moved to the area after my father got his new job. I didn't want to move high school but I knew I didn't have a choice in the matter, anyways back to when it all started I had just walked into the main doors of the school, I had arrived early so I could get my time sheet and locker number, that's when I felt someone was watching me.

I tried to shake the feeling but it just wouldn't go away, no matter where I would go. My new friends just thought I was going crazy and worrying myself for nothing, at first I agreed with with them pushing the feeling a side. But now the feeling of been watched is growing stronger and I can't push it aside.

Sorry where are my manners, my name is Kate May, I'm 17 years of age, my family have just moved to England from Scotland, I'm just your average normal every day girl. I have a loving family who would do anything for me, my father is a top solicitor, my mother works as a social worker and let me not forget my loving twin brother Lee, who is also attending the high school.

"Hey Kate you listening to anything I've said?"my new best friend Leanne says from the seat next to myself.

"Sorry, what was you saying again" my friends used to me blanking out and not listening as I had started doing it a lot lately, even though I never used to do before.

"I was saying my friend Derek is having a party Saturday, you down for it" I could see that she really wanted me to go with her, yet I didn't feel up to going I was never one for party's.

"I'm not sure, maybe, I mean I guess I could ask my father if I'm allowed" I didn't no what else to say as I didn't want to feel bad for say no there and then.

The bell rang at the end of the school day, I met my brother outside ready to head home, that's when I felt that feeling again but this time when I looked, I saw something move within the tree lines of the woods opposite the school. Although I didn't see anyone move after that I still felt eyes on me, my brother pulled me along to his car, pulling my out of my trace.

"Kate what is with you later" Lee asked as he started the car up.

"Nothing" I sighed knowing my brother wouldn't believe me.

"Kate I know you better than anyone, I know when something is wrong, even though we have our ups and down and argue your still my twin sister" I couldn't help but smile at my brother, he was right we both knew each other better than anyone else.

"Fine, but promise you won't laugh" i say all serious.

"Promise" he hold his pinky out and shakes my own.

"I don't know how to explain this, but since we started at the new school, I feel like someone is watching my every move, even on a night at home when I'm sat on the balcony in my room, it's like I'm been followed" my brother start in silence for a while, while he drove us both home.

"I know your a strong young lady Kate, I just want you to promise me that if what you are saying is true, that you just be careful" I did a pinky promise with him just as we got to our house.

I was now sitting in my room thinking about the last two weeks, why couldn't I shake the feeling off, why would someone be watching me after all I am just a normal every day girl trying to finish high school.

I walked over to my balcony opening the doors and standing looking out at the land in front of me. My father had brought a big arse mansion in the mind of woodlands,so the view looked out into the woodlands and the swimming pool in the backyard. I closed my eyes and breathed in a breath of fresh air before opening my eyes, listening to the night creatures.

I stood there for a while just thinking about everything, I always loved the night life, looking at the stars and the moon, thinking about how life feels so peaceful at night fall. I could stay out here all night and watch the night sky.

As I was about to walk back inside I heard the sound of what sounded like a dog howling but then I remembered there was no dogs about, so it most of been a wild wolf with in the woods somewhere. I looked out into the woods one last time before I called it a night, that's when I saw it Yellow eyes glowing within the dark starring right at me.

I couldn't move all I could do was stare into the yellow eyes, I turned to make out what this creature was but I couldn't make it out, it stayed within the darkness of the outlined woods not wanting to show it's true self, Yet within the blink of an eye the yellow eyes were gone.

I couldn't stop thinking about the yellow eyes as I was in bed, what sort of creature had yellow eyes like that. I couldn't think of any that would, as I tried to fell asleep, I was becoming restless by the minute all until sleep got the better of me and darkness pulled me in.
