Chapter 13-kates wolf

Kate's POV

Last night was the best night of my life, I was now fully mated to Derek and I couldn't be happier. As for when my wolf would let herself be known, well we didn't no when it would happen.

Right now I'm currently on my way to school, since I haven't been going for the last week. Derek said that it be best showing my face, that the pack would keep me safe from any harm.

So here I am wearing a pair of white shorts and a tank top along with my sandals, as today it's hotter than it as been in a long while.

As I walk through the school I got glares from all the girls, where as the guys keep their eyes else where. I knew that by now the pack could sense I had mated with Derek, his scent was all over me mixed with my own.

Walking to my first class I see my best friend Zara along with Leanne, they were both sitting at the back. Yet as soon as the sensed me entering both turned to greet me, goddess how I have missed my best friends.

"Omg, Kate where have you been" Zara asked hugging me, to then let Leanna do the same. I felt bad that I hadn't spent time with them, yet with everything going on I ain't spent time with anyone. If I'm honest I didn't know who to trust, apart from my family and Derek.

"Sorry, it's just been a crazy few weeks" I say smile and taking my seat next to them.

"You could of at least texted us, we would of come over to yours" Leanne says even though she knows what's going on, her mated to my twin brother meant she would know everything.

"Look I'm sorry I've just been going out my mind, my father won't let me leave the house, my mother well doesn't want to face wants going on, to top it of Derek hasn't let anyone near me but my family" I say sighing as I hated to admit it to myself how bad things was.

Before their could say anything the teacher entered the room, I got out my things and got on with the lesson.

Lunch time came round faster than I knew, I was now in the canteen along with my friends. We was all sitting around laughing and joking just like we use to do before. I was kinda sad that Derek wasn't here with us, I mean I know he was alpha business but I missed him a lot.

When I first started the school Derek was never around so I didn't know him, since meeting him at the mall he would always come to school and hang out with us at lunch. Yet with everything going on he stays home doing pack stuff, I mean I know it's his job but he could at least take time out soon times.

"Hey Kate you listening" Jake says, Jake is one of the head warriors who goes to the school, Derek thought it be a good idea for him to keep an eye on me in school. As much as I didn't need babysitting, he was have none of it.

"Yeah sorry what was you saying" everyone laughed knowing I had blanked out again, what can I say same old me.

"I was asking if your ready for tonight" he says looking worried.

"Why wouldn't I be" I know other people would in my shoes, yet I didn't need to since I had already gone through it once before.

I know your wondering what she on about well tonight is the full moon and since I'm mated to Derek now, well you can probably already guess my wolf should be uncaged from within me.

So was I worried about her coming out to play, no because I knew that know matter what Derek would be there. I knew with him by my side, I shouldn't lose control to the animal within my.

"I don't know, just thought with you been a princess and all it be more painful" he says with a small smile.

"You honestly don't know nothing" I say before standing up, only to fall back down as pain shoot through my whole body.

I felt pain everywhere as my whole body burned, my eyes become a blur as I felt someone picking me and running outside. After a minute I feel someone put me back down, their had place me on what felt like grass.

I could hear shouting going on around me, yet I couldn't see or hear due to the pain running though my whole body.  As I lay there I let the screams come out my mouth, not been able to hardly any of it. I have never felt anything like this in my whole life, it felt as if my whole body was breaking bone by bone.

As I try to force on what's going on around me, I found someone was wrapping the hair out my face. After a second I soon realised it was Derek as the pain seemed to ease a little, I could hear him say sweet nothing in my ears. I didn't know what was going on but yet as soon as I heard the words right out of Derek's mouth, I couldn't understand why it was happening now and not at night fall.

I was shifted into my wolf and the pain was so unbearable, I felt like I was going to pass out.

I don't know how long I was like that for but when the pain finally stopped, I opened my eyes to see I was laying in my wolf form. I tried to take in my surroundings, yet my wolf had other ideas which I wasn't happy about.

I fought hard to control her and push her back, even though it took a lot of energy out of me. I finally managed to push her back, keeping control before looking down at my wolf paws. I was shocked to say the least, my wolfs paws was pour white.

"Beautiful" I hear someone say, yet I look around to see it's only me and Derek wolf Baz.

"Who said that" i think to myself, only to realise I probably sound crazy.

"Your not crazy, it's me princess Derek. We can talk through something called mind link" he tells me before walking close to myself and rubbing his body against my own.

Both wolfs purr at been close to each other, loving the feeling of having their mates. Yet one question was going through my mind, why did I shifted before the full moon tonight.
