"How did you get here?"

Topaz scowled. "I- I followed you..." I whispered. She sighed. "Look, I know that our souls connect and we should stay together, but why didn't you tell me to wait while you caught up?!" "I was too tired and I had a sore throat and I-" I started crying. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to make you cry. By the way..." she passed me something. "... You dropped your sword. And your bag of candy." I sniffed. "Thanks. Hold on... Didn't you have some friends with you when you first came...?" we gasped. "Oh no... Tinsu... Faolaun... I- I left them at our camp... They were following me, but they weren't behind me when I jumped the fence!" she began to weep. "Hey, it's okay. I know they're fine. They're tough." I smiled. "Wanna sing your favourite cheering up song?" "I-" she paused. "Sure." we joined hands, she flew, she levitated me and I made water dance and splash us as we began to sing.

We stopped - she was happy now. But then we turned around and saw a bunch of the eldest-looking campers. Everybody was clapping. Topaz blushed so hard that she turned invisible. "... Were you guys here the whole time? Thalia?" she said, timidly. "Uh huh." Thalia nodded. Topaz turned visible again, and her jaw dropped. "Ugh! Now everyone's gonna think I'm the kind of chick that likes all that girly-girl fru-fru junk." she whined. "No we don't. We just think you're great singers." a girl walked forward. "My name's Piper; welcome to Camp Half-Blood."
