Chapter 8: Real Cause

as sunggyu laid his body on Aerri, she didn't knew what to do. Aerri kept on crying. She was in the grounds, trying to comfort him, but what more can she do for him? while looking at poor sunggyu, Aerri said:

Aerri: I need to seek help. this won't do.. oppa, wait... This nightmare will come to its end soon.

While tears keep on streaming down her cheeks, Aerri checked his condition. She pitied sunggyu so much, his pale face, that face with an obviously hidden pain, it seems like, that image will be forever stocked on Aerri's mind. she talked to herself, "I need to help him but how?!"

Aerri tried to shout and seek for help, but she felt uneasy. voice can't come out of her. She was shaking. She felt weak, she's loosing strength because of that terrible happenings. Aerri closed her eyes. focused for awhile, and finally, something popped up in her mind. WHISTLE! She get the whistle (given by their sonsaengnim) from sunggyu's pocket. at her first try on blowing it, she failed. Aerri is still crying that's why she blew it softly and she was also shaking, so she tried harder and the sound from the whistle became louder, but though Aerri tried hard, it seems that it was not yet enough. She wiped her tears, whispered:

Aerri: oppa, help me. give me strength to do this just once.

and then she paused for a moment, reached and hold her brother's hand, gathered all her strength, inhaled as she can, and then blew the whistle so hard. Aerri did her best shot. it was successful, she heard response from a whistle too. sonsaengnim blew a whistle as a sign that they got her emergency call. as Aerri waits for their help, she heard a long howl of a wolf. but she didn't care. She wasn't afraid of that, all she's been afraid of is sunggyu's condition.

Aerri: Oppa, just endure it for a little more time. (then she hugged him) they'll be coming to help us here.

Aerri gave him her warmest hug that she has never given to anyone. she didn't care about the stain of sunggyu's blood that will possibly mark on her top shirt and pants, she just hugged him tight until she heard their professor looking for them, shouting,

Professor: KIDS?? Aerri-ssi! Sunggyu-ah!!

Aerri: (using her voice) SONSAENGNIM!!!!! We're here in the house!!

She also heard hoya's voice, he was so concerned about the both of Aerri and sunggyu.

Hoya: (shouting) DONGSAENG-AH! are you alright?

Aerri: Ne!! But oppa . . . . oppa is not.

Aerri kept on looking around, waiting for hoya and their professor.

Hoya: Don't worry! Everything will be alright! Stay strong.. HWAITING!!

then few seconds, Aerri saw a light from the woods infront of the haunted house. it was a flashlight, so she said in a loud voice:

Aerri: HOYA-SSI!!!! Here!!!! Here!!!! Palli!!!! Please help us!!

Then hoya and their professor saw them. they were surprised about sunggyu's and aerri's condition, especially when the saw sunggyu lying on Aerri. they both ran towards aerri's direction,

Professor: What happened to him?

Aerri: Sonsaengnim, please help him. please... help my oppa, he got injured. he is bleeding.. please sonsaengnim... please please!!!!
