Gage-The Abused

Leila POV-

I was awoken by my neighbors yelling at each other again. It was 6 o'clock, they always yell at each other this early. I got out of my bed and went to the window to make sure they are okay. I saw Gage holding his door closed like always and crying. I wish I could hold Gage and kill his father. His father has been trying to kill him for the years he has been here by beating him. I walked over to my closet to pick out my clothes for today. I chose my Sleeping With Sirens shirt, black ripped skinnies, my black converse, and my black beanie. When I was dressed, i went to my bathroom to do my eyeliner. I got done about 6:30 and went downstairs. "Hey mom." I said as I was walking down the stairs. "Good morning Lei how was your sleep?" She asked while looking tired. "It was good till I woke up to Gage's dad trying to kill him again." I said kind of worried because I am in love with Gage and don't want his dad to hurt him or kill him. "Lei listen to me. Do not try to stop it. His dad is a very ugly man. I don't want you to get hurt. Just let his dad do whatever he wants, he will anyways." She said and went back to the stove to finish the eggs. "I hate how my mom didn't understand that it is not right to watch and listen to it everyday. It kills me that his dad does that to him and makes me so angry. Then the bus honks and takes me out of my thoughts. "Bye mom, love you." I said as I grabbed my bag and was running towards the door. "Bye Lei have a good day." My mom yelled back at me in a good way. As I was walking out, I saw Gage getting on the bus too. He had his hair in his face and was looking down. He stopped and let me on first then he got on after me. The bus ride to school is always the same. I get called "Emo freak", "Slut", "Bitch", "Why don't you kill yourself" and many more. I always block them out because they are stupid and it has never bothered me. When we finally got to school, Gage walked off to first period because he doesn't socialize with anyone. As soon as I walked into first period the bell rang for first period. I had Mr. Banks for English first with Gage. We sat right next to each other, but never talked. "Okay class, we have a new project we are doing. You'll be doing this with a partner and it will be graded. I have already assigned the partners. Get with your partner when you hear your name and you have a week to finish it. All of your information is on the board and listen for your name. Rebecca and Jay, James and Samantha, Jacet and Micheal, Leila and Gage..... As he finished calling the names I looked at Gage and I saw a big bruise on his cheek. So that is why he didn't look at me and smile like he always does. I broke the silence by saying, "So, should I go to your house or to mine to work on the project?" "We can go to mine, my dad wont be home so it'll be safe for both of us." He said fast mumbling the last part probably thinking I didn't hear it, but I did. The day went by so slow and when the bell finally rang, I was so happy. I was at my locker getting my books I might need when Gage came up to me and leans against the locker. 'Why is he so adorable and so cute?' I questioned myself and I didn't realize I was staring at him till he said, "Leila, maybe we should go get started on the project." "Oh, yeah, sorry." I said shutting my locker. We were walking home cause that is what we do in the afternoons. It was a good walk. We talked the whole way and I saw him smile so much, more than I have ever saw him smile. When we got to his house, we went to his room and started to work on the project and talk about each other. An hour later we made a lot of progress and we were almost done when we heard the door slam. His father was walking up the stairs angrily and that scared us both. Then his dad started banging on the door telling Gage to unlock the door or he will bust it down. Gage refused to unlock the door so his dad busted it down and went over to Gage and started punching and kicking him and slapping him. I watched in horror then finally got the courage to call 911. About 10 minutes later, the police had Gage's dad on the ground and were cuffing him. I ran over to Gage and held him in my arms crying. I was looking at his beautiful brown hair and wishing he would open his eyes so I could see the beautiful blue they were. I want to protect him forever and be with him forever. I love him but I don't think he loves me back. Two hours later, he finally wakes up. He looks at me and smiles and says, "Leila, are you okay?" "I'm fine, I'm more worried about you." I said with A worried look. " I'm fine now I'm just wanting to make sure he didn't hurt you. If he hurt you, I'm going to kill him." He said furious. " He didn't hurt me and why do you care?" I asked confused why he cared about me. "Because I love you, Leila, I love you and don't want you hurt. You are so special and so beautiful. I want to keep you safe forever and be with you forever." He said smiling at me. "You love me? But I thought you didn't like me. You never talked to me or seemed like you cared." I said looking away from him. " Leila, I love you. I always will and always have. I didn't think you liked or loved me that's why I never looked or socialized with you." He said and I pulled him close and kisse him. It took him by surprise but then kissed back. When we got done kissing, he asked, "Leila, will you be my girlfriend?" And I pulled him close and kissed him again and said with. smirk, "Does that answer your question?" "Yes it does." And he smiled so big and was so happy. It was the best day of my life and I finally was happy that I can protect him and he can protect me.

So another update, yays!!! lol im jk. I hope you liked this AlexCastro1212. I tried. But I'll do more request if you guys have them and I'll also write some of my own if I get ideas. I also want going to write an actual book on here. If it turns out really good, I'll post it but if it doesn't then I won't or I might idk yet.
