Being rejected isn't what we would like to feel. Amelia felt that and it changed her life forever, but will it change again?

Amelia's family lives in the west side of the city. They live in a provincial part of the city called Amaya. Their not rich nor poor. Amelia always see many children play outside their house ever since she was young. Amelia's parents never let her go outside for her safety.

One time she argued with her parents. Amelia said "Mom, I want to go outside I want to feel what it feels like to-". "Stop!" Amelia's mother butted in, "Amelia, you can't go anywhere outside you're too young there could be kidnappers and-".

"But Mom! I am nineteen already!" Amelia said. "Amelia! You will stay in here forever, you get that?!" Amelia's father said. Amelia froze. "Now, we must get going for we will be late for our work at the city" Amelia's mother told her father. "Stay here Amelia! Don't you let us tell you again." Her father said as him and her mother walked outside locking thr door shut.

"Have a safe trip..." Amelia said. Amelia went upstairs to her room. She looked outside the window and saw children playing. She never felt the wind outside, and never even felt real grass. Her parents always just lock her in her room. She never had friends.

After some time of looking around, Amelia saw a boy, a handsome one, walking towards the children, infront of her house.

The boy then looked up at the house, at the window, and saw Amelia. The boy went closer to the house, and looked up at Amelia. "Hey! Beautiful! What your name?!" He shouted.

Amelia looked down and shouted back "Uh... Am-Amelia Guaritore!" Amelia knows she can't shout her name at a stranger, but she was too charmed by the boy.

"Hi! Amelia! I'm Jake Giovanni! What are you doing up there?!" the boy said. "Uh...Hi Jake! Uhm, this is my house, obviously, and I'm not supposed to go outside!" Amelia said.

"Really?! Well, that's sad! Why don't you go outside now?! Your parents aren't here right?!" Jake said. "Well, I can't! Because the doors are locked!" Amelia said. "Hmmm, Wait for me!!!" Jake said. Amelia looked down and Jake wasn't there. "Whoa, he went away so fast..." Amelia told herself.

Suddenly, Jake appeared infront of her window, "Hi!". "Ahhh!!!" Amelia screamed, "You scared me! Wait...What?! How did you get up here?!".

"Easy, I am a hunter, I climbed your house." Jake said as he went inside the window. "Hmmm, this room is nice".

"Wha-wha... How can you exactly climb my house? It's so high, you could've fall!" Amelia said.

"*laughs* Thanks for your concern but for your information, I didn't fall, and I am a hunter, a hunter should know everything, climb, run, jump, kill" Jake said grinning at Amelia.

Amelia was amazed, she never saw a real hunter before. "So, you never went outside?" Jake asked. "Yeah, never felt anything outside" Amelia answered.

"What if, I, let you go outside?" Jake said.
"Uhm...what? My parents will be angry!"
"What time does your parents go back home?"
"Uhm, about 7:00 p.m."
"Then, we'll go back 6:00 p.m., what do you say?"
"Uhm...it's totally safe outside right...right?"
"*laughs* You've got a hunter on your side, what could go wrong?"

Amelia smiled and said "You're right, well then, how can I go down?" Jake took Amelia's hand and pulled her towards the window. "I'll bring you down" Jake said.

"Wait...what?!" Amelia said. Jake wrapped his arms around Amelia's waist, and wrapped a rope on a window. "Hold on tight!" Jake said. Amelia looked at Jake's face and held onto him tightly. "Here we go!" Jake said as they slide down the rope. "Ahhhh!!!" Amelia screamed. "Are we there yet?! Jake!!!". "*laughs* Yep!" Jake said as he released Amelia from his arms.

Amelia opened her eyes and looked around. She felt the cold wind breeze, she kneeled down and felt the soft grass tickling her. Jake went toward her "What do you think?"

"It's amazing..." Amelia said. Amelia smiled at Jake "Thankyou". Jake replied "It's nothing, there's more things you haven't discovered yet, let me show you" Amelia stood up and nodded.

Jake pointed towards a beautiful sunset, the clouds in the sky, the wind gushed through the trees and went towards Amelia, "Wow" she said. "Lets go" Jake said.

They went through the forest until it was almost 6:00 p.m. Jake taught Amelia how to climb her house, it took them almost like forever.

"Well, this is it, farewell Amelia" Jake said as he jumped out the window. "Wait!" Amelia looked out the window and he was gone.

"Hmm, Jake...thanks" Amelia told herself. At that moment, Amelia felt something she never felt before. She was inlove.
