chapter 13

I wake up and get my regular clothes on except this time I’m not going to be wearing my mask, it’s probably best that I don’t so it’s easier for me to breath. I tie up my hair and let my bangs fall, covering one of my eyes. I get my sandals on and walk out of my room and go downstairs to see where the rest of my team is.

I enter the kitchen only to find the same woman I saw when I woke up yesterday.

“umm do you know where my team is?” I ask her

“they went into the forest to train” she gives me a heart harming smile. I smile back at her and leave for the forest.

I go through the forest following the chakra of my team; I hear their loud voices and follow that instead.

I walk closer to them and get a look at what they are doing, it looks like tree climbing, it actually looks like a lot of fun!

“looks like you’re pretty much healed then” Kakashi appears behind me making me jump out of my skin

“really hate it when you do that. And yes I’m a lot better thanks” I tell him

“good that means you can join in with the rest of your team” he gives me a small smile, kind of entertained by the whole situation. I sigh

“do I have to?” I groan

“yes” he says simply

“fine” I sigh again “what do I have to do then?” I ask

“you have to climb a tree without using your hands, you then mark the tree with a kunai when you are falling off. Choose a tree and get started by concentrating your chakra to your feet then run up the tree and do as I said before” He informs me and walks off, probably so he can just read that perverted book of his.

I go up to a tree and concentrate my chakra to my feet and start running up the tree, I get past one or two branches then lose my footing but before I fall I quickly mark the tree and do a flip to straighten myself out while I fall so I can safely land, I land on the ground in a crouched position and stand back up and try again and again and again, I keep getting higher and higher and higher; making my way to the top braches of the tree. ‘Just a little bit further, I can do this, come on Yuki concentrate!’ I think to myself

I keep going, the tree’s getting thinner as I get closer to the top, I run out of tree to run up so I sit down on the highest branch and rest for a bit; trying to gain some chakra back.

I’m so tired! I shouldn’t have carried on with this as long as I did, especially with my wound. I lie down on the branch and look up at the setting sun surrounded by a beautiful mixture of a purple, red, yellow and blue sky. My eyelids begin to feel heavy and I fall asleep.

I feel a hand shaking me, trying to wake me. I open my eyes but squint as soon as the light hits me. I look at the person who was trying to wake me up and see its Sasuke

“what…do…you…want?” I groan, still half asleep

“it’s time to wake up Yuki” Sasuke shakes me again

“can’t I have one more minute?” I groan again, closing my eyes again

“you’ve been sleeping up here for the past two days Yuki, I think it’s time to get up”

My eyes shoot wide open in shock

“I’VE SLEPT FOR TWO DAYS STRAIGHT?! WHY DIDN’T ANYBODY WAKE ME UP EARLIER?!” I shout at him

“we didn’t know where you were and we were busy with the mission so we didn’t have the time to” he plainly states, I grow an irk mark

“YOU DIDN’T EVEN LOOK FOR ME?!” I shout at him

“like I said before, we didn’t have the time to look for you” he repeats himself. I can’t believe how freakin’ arrogant this guy is being! My anger keeps building up and I lose control and punch him so hard that he falls off the branch.

I gasp and look down, looking to see where he was and if he was ok. Oh my god! What if I killed him?! He’s the last of his clan and I killed him! I’ve killed off the Uchihas!!! I start to hyperventilate

“boo” Sasuke appears behind me, scaring me so much that I fall off the branch

I try and grab onto the tree but I keep on slipping

I keep falling and falling and falling

The wind rushing past me so fast, the ground getting nearer and nearer

I shut my eyes closed, braising myself for impact

But I don’t hit the ground; instead somebody catches me in time and holds me close to them. I grab onto the person’s t-shirt trying to catch my breath and calm down. Once I’m breathing normally again I look up at the person who’s holding me and meet the onyx eyes of the one and only Sasuke Uchiha. I feel heat go to my cheeks and my heart beat quicken, I look down at the ground and try and hide my blush. I peer up at him and see a slight pink tinge to his cheeks, he seemed lost of all words, I don’t know why though. I look back at the ground and he stands me up and shoves his hands in his pockets, quickly walking away.

“wait!” I shout after him, he stops but doesn’t look at me

“what?” he says, still not looking at me

“thanks for catching me, I’ll pay you back at some point” I give him a small smile, he turns his head and looks at me with an emotionless face and then turns away again, walking away.

I sigh in frustration. I keep getting in the way! I beginning to get more in the way than Sakura and that’s saying something!

I make my way to the bridge by myself. At least I can control my chakra better now.

Alright that’s all for now! I’m sorry for the slow uploads, but I really am trying :)
