Once there was a little girl.

Her name was not to be seen.

She rode around on horses.

When thirsty, she drank from streams.

She loved all her surroundings, they filled her up with joy.

Yet inside, sometimes, a storm became to destroy.

it swirled and swam

it drowned all that she loved

and so, sitting alone,

all sad in the mud,

inside of her mind,

she broke down and cried

"Oh what to do? What will I love? How can this happened?"

She asked the man above

Sitting alone,

in her sadness and tears,

a little voice peeked out from behind her sadness and fears

"Why do you cry? when you know not who you are?

what if this is the start of a wonderful song?"

The girl lifted her head. "Who are you to know? I am sitting in sadness, I am sad and half-grown."

"i know not why I cry. I know not why I'm sad. But I do know that now, I am not as I want."

"That's okay, small girl." The voice began strongly. "Its okay not to know in this world, your belonging."

"But to simply enjoy who you are, what you do. You know, theres no one out there as you as you."

The girl took a breath. Her voice huffed and puffed. She liked what the voice said. But could she like it enough?

If she loved it too much, she would cry when it left. If she didn't love it enough, it would leave without a second breath.

"See," the girl began, rising to her feet. "To love and they left. That has truly hurt me."

"But girl, don't you see? They didn't leave you. They grew with their lives. And so too, should you. Their lives have a part, and sometimes you are in it. You have begun your journey, girl. And youll leave people too. But its alright. Sometimes they come back to you."

"Are you saying," said the girl, taking a deep breath, "That these people will appear in my life once again?"

"I'm not making promises. That much is true. But sometimes people's lives are not through with you." the voice took a break, listening to itself carefully. it turned over its words, choosing each one meticulously.

"See, girl, when someone is put in your life, they teach you something. And that is called life. Sometimes they teach you moments, that make you quite sad. But most of the time, people can teach you to be glad. The biggest mistake anyone could ever have made, is to forget how to love due to having a bad day."

The girl grinned a bit. She began to smile. "So I suppose... Loving is still worthwhile?" She grinned a bit more, and dusted off her clothes. The tear stains disappeared, and she felt warm from her face to her toes.

"Thank you, dear voice. I will do as you say. For loving is easy when once shown the way."

The voice laughed a bit, filled with unmeasured glee. "have a wonderful day girl. And don't worry about me. I know when I leave you may end up sad once more. But remember, there's a reason. I taught you, and you I. And that is for sure."
