Chapter 8

School finaly ended after a couple of hours, and you would be surprised of how many classes I had. On my way back to the dorm, I saw Phoenix talking to Alic. I couldn't hear them, but when they were done talking, they nodded at each other. Phoenix looks my way, so I quickly run behind the corner. I started breathing heavily. Just as I thought he would see me, he walked the other direction. I gave a huge sigh, thinking everything was ok, but it must have been too loud. He turned around quick. Fuck. I'm so screwed. I wanted to move, but my legs wouldn't do what I told them to do. When I looked up, he was right there in my face.

"Hey, Kitty! What are you doing here and not in your little kitty bed, eating a fish?" What the hell! I swear if I could, I would have beat the shit out of him, but I couldn't.

I took a deep breath before i said anything,"Hey, Phoenix. What do you want now. To drag me everywhere?" He laughed like it was a complement.

"You know me too well, but not today. So what are you doing here?"

"Oh, I'm just... um... passing by. What about you?"

"Cut the act. So what did you hear?"

"What? I didn't hear anything."

He came up to my ear and grabbed my shoulders and said,"Good. Cause if you knew something, I might have had to kill you."

My eyes were so wide with shock. What did he tell Alic? What's so important that he would kill me for?

He let go, closed his eyes, put his hand on his neck, and said,"Sorry. It was a joke. I guess a bad one. Don't think about it." He turns around and raised his hand,"See ya, Kitty!"

Grrr.... I swear. If I wasn't so creeped out, I would have said something, but I was still there frozen in shock. After awhile, I ran back to the dorm. Garden came and gave me a hug to welcome me back.

"Welcome back, Griffin! Where were you? We were worried to death!"

"YOU were worried. I don't give a fuck about anyone." Evie came to ruin the moment. After that catasrafy, I went to my room and laid on my bed.
