"Stop thief!" My heels clicked off the stones of the bazaar as the heat of the stolen bread scalded my breast. The sandy wind cutting into my face like knives. The clacking of feet off the stone showed I had pursuers upon my tail the clacking of metal off sheaves showed the were armed.
Gotta look for a escape route. The alleys were the place to lose them. Running head long into the alley they followed me as I stopped before the wall to catch my breath.
"Turn slowly girl." The voice of a guard cut into me as his voice sounded like a sick camel. Obeying the voice I slowly turned my mint green hair announcing who I was to anyone not living under a rock.
"So we finally caught you 'Master Thief' Emerald." His cruel smile was matched by the man's lack of teeth; a seal showing his rank upon the man's garb showed he was the head of the guardsmen.
"You think so huh?" I smiled before running through the wall as the men thumped against as my magic faded.
