Chapter 8- Christmas shopping

Day after the welcome home party

Niall's P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of Bobby crying; he cried and woke up around 5 times throughout the night. Ellie fed him and I winded him. The only benefit of getting up throughout the night was seeing the love of my life lying next to me as well as, seeing Bobby of course.

I checked the time to see what time it was and it read 7am. Ellie is flat out sleeping; she is in a deep sleep as she couldn't hear Bobby crying. She looked so innocent and beautiful asleep; her lips slightly parted and light faint sounds of her breathing. I know it might sound weird; I could stare at her all day if I could.

I got out of bed and walked to Bobby's cot; I took him out and placed him in my arms. I shake him whilst, making shhh sounds and cooing words to calm him down and to stop him crying. I walked down stairs with him in my arms and took him into the nursery where all his changing equipment were.

I looked around for his changing gear and found his nappies (diapers), changing mat and all of the other equipment. I placed him on the mat and changed him. I placed him in his day cot whilst I searched for some clothes to dress him in. I came across this top which said "I am the Lil Craic" I liked the shirt; I dressed him in that and a pair of jogging pants with some socks.

I carried Bobby into the kitchen and placed him in his Moses which was by the kitchen. I decided to cook a full English breakfast. I searched for the ingredients to make this and began to cook the breakfast. 15 Minutes later the breakfast was cooked. I put on the kettle to make a cup of tea for me and Ellie. As I turned around to collect the milk Ellie was coming down the stairs

I shouted "Morning beautiful" I said as she came down the stairs

Ellie replied sleepily "Morning babe" as I picked up the milk out of the fridge.

When Ellie walked into the kitchen she walked over to Bobby and gave him a sweet, gentle kiss on his temple. After she kissed him she walked to the seat at the table. Being a gentleman I slid her seat out to let her sit down and waited for her to sit down before collecting the breakfast which was ready on the plate.

I gave Ellie her plate of food and placed mine on the table whilst I sat down.

"Did you have a great sleep babe?" I asked Ellie

"Apart from getting up and feeding Bobby, I slept great thank you. How about you" Ellie replied to my question.

"Yes. I had a great sleep and I agree with the getting up throughout the night comment. Ha-ha" I said then giving off a nervous laugh.

I didn't know why I gave off a nervous laugh. Maybe, it was that me and Ellie slept together last night. I began to think of last night actions, I could not believe that I was back with my girl who I left pregnant many months ago, i know that I didn't know that she was pregnant; i still left her.

The door slammed shut which brought me back to reality. As I looked up Ellie's mum appeared

"Morning Cheryl" i said to her

"Morning Niall. How was last night?" Cheryl replied

"It was an experience. Hopefully, I will get use to it soon." I said

"You will get use to it soon. How long you here for then?" Cheryl said

I actually didn't know when I was leaving; I was waiting for the call off management to let me know

"Erm. I don't know yet, I am still waiting for management to tell me. As soon as I find out I was tell you. At the minute I am concentrated on the baby and Ellie so I don't care if it takes ages for them to contact me." I said.
