I ran to the shower crying feeling completely violated of my rights. I scrubbed really hard everywhere trying to get his sweat off of me. I was traumatized I never thought someone I grew up with would hurt me in such way. I knew from this day forward I would never be Adrienne CartWright.

I got out of bed and decided it was time to create a new me. I changed my name to Laurynn Gates. I even got contacts put in, tattoos, and piercings. My best friend Kaila Ross knows of what happened and she's just as pissed as I am.

I finished my daily routines as I headed out to go to my friends house. I got there 30 minutes later as I knocked on the door.

Kaila: "Hey baby!!"

Laurynn: "Hey, How you been love?"

Kaila: "Fine and you?"

Laurynn: "I been good."

Kaila: "You know you don't have to hide from me, tell me wassup."

Laurynn: "I'm still traumatized about what happened years ago. I wake up screaming and crying. I don't know how much longer I can do this."

Kaila: "You will get through this and you know I'm here for you."

Laurynn: "Thank you I know I can always count on you."

Laurynn has been my best friend since we are little kids. To find out she had been raped by Josh pissed me off. How could he do her like that? I know he liked her and wanted a chance but you never force yourself on anyone. For that I knew he would one day pay for what he did. Just a matter of time before he do.

Kaila: "Let's watch a movie of your choice."

Laurynn: "Alright I pick the Vow."

Kaila: You were always the romantic type.

Laurynn: "You're right, romantic is my middle name baby."

Kaila: "Haha your so silly girl."

We began to watch the movie and all I could think about was how I would struggle to ever let another guy get close to me.

I had to find a way to live and be happy again. I knew that wouldn't happen until Josh is dead.
