Al's P.O.V.

You know how people write about waking up and the hospital light being so bright at first that you can't even stand it. Well they're right because this shit hurts. It's like being in a deep sleep then someone shinning a flashlight in your eyes.

"Turn the damn lights out!" I heard some rustling then the lights went off. "Thank you!" I sat up and watched as Skylar walked back from turning off the lights and to the chair beside my hospital bed. She turned the lamp on that was beside my bed and turned to me.

"You were right. We can't stay here and I know exactly what we have to do." She looked depressed like she didn't want to go through with her plan, but she also looked sure of it.

"We have to run. We can't tell anyone where we are going and we get plenty of distance between us and chase. We have no other choice." She looked down to the ground as a tear escaped her eye. I knew that this was hard for her because she would be leaving Emma and Evan and I felt bad because I didn't have anything, so I had nothing to cry over, but for some reason I found myself crying with her.

"It will be okay." I moved over so she could sit with me on the hospital bed. She got under the cover and I comforted my friend. "You will see Emma and Evan again. This will all blow over and we will be able to settle down again and be happy like before. We will be okay."

"I know." She cried for a little longer, but then sat up and wiped the tears away. "We need to get a move on. It's still dark outside, so that's good, but we need to make sure we get out of here unseen. The backdoor is just down the hall, so we should be good." We got up and headed to the door of the hospital room and walked quietly into the hall. We looked both ways to see if a nurse or doctor was coming and once the coast was clear we booked it to the door.

We got outside and waved down a cab. "Where to?" Skylar looked to me and I looked to her. I shrugged my shoulder and she turned to the cab driver. "As close to Los Angeles as possible." I watched the scenery go bye as I said goodbye to my old life and hello to my new one.

**2 Months later**

We have been on the run for two months and we were doing surprisingly well until we got kicked out of the apartment we were living in because we couldn't pay rent. Now we are on the hunt for somewhere to go, that was until sky stopped and I saw and idea flash in her eyes.

"Bre!"

"Look I know you miss everyone and all, but we-"

"No!" She looked at me like I was crazy for not unstinting what she was talking about. "I meant that Bre has a place here that she rarely uses! Maybe we could call her and ask her if we could use it for a little while."

"I though you said no one was to know where we were."

"We can make her swear not to say anything! We need this place to stay at Al!" She didn't even look to me for approval before pulling her phone out and dialing Bre's number.

"Put it on speaker!" She pressed the speakerphone button and we waited for Bre to pick up. It rang about three times before she picked up.

"Hello? Sky?"

"Hey Bre!"

"Omg! The guys and I have missed you and Al so much! I have got to tell them you called! Hey gu-"

"NO! WAIT!"

"Umm....what's going on?"

"I and Al ran away."

"WHAT?!"

"We couldn't stay there with chase! He put Allison in the hospital, so we had to leave! We came here and were good for 2 months, but then got kicked out of our apartment and now we have nowhere to go. That's why we called; to ask if we could borrow your house here."
