(At the hospital)

Tom impatiently paced back and forth, breathing getting heavier every time he though of Edd and what just happened. It's the same every time... He cares for someone, they go away. Edd was the last hope he though he would just let go, but couldn't... He loved Edd, and would risk it just so he can be with him. Matt looked at Tom for a long time, watching him pace for so long it almost made him dizzy, of course he was worried as well, but Matt usually doesn't panic for a long time like Tom.

The doctors finally came out, Tom was a bit relieved and worried. Matt stood up and Tom rushed towards the doctors and worriedly but a bit angrily asked them what happened. When the doctors finally were done explaining, Tom went into the room where Edd was and stood next to him.

Tom laid his hand on Edd's and looking down, a shadow covering his face. He heald back most of his emotions but let small tears run down, not even bothering to wipe them, letting them streak down and fall.

Edd finally started to stir awake, his vision of the world a blur. Edd felt a small warmth on his hand and noticing the hand on it lifting of. Then Edd noticed Tom to the side and.... Crying.

Tom noticed Edd was waking up as he turned worryingly happy as he faced Edd smiling. Edd returned the smile and Tom started to happily cry, just grateful Edd was alive.
