Tom sat along the edge of the pool, his bare feet swinging along the top of the water, rippling the hard reflection of the moon. He lightly stepped in, lightly floating from the air in his lungs. He submerged his body, the water was chilled but his body adjusted, the liquid compressing against his stomach and making his breathing hard and slow.

He closed his eyes, flipped his body and his breathing painfully stopped as his head finally went in the cool water.

His body softly floated to the bottom, his lungs giving out the last bit of oxygen inside him. He ignored the pain, feeling a soft wave of drowsiness take over. But it never came, sleep never came.

Then he was started to be lifted to the surface. His eyes opened in shock as his body took in the air again. His eyes were cloudy, but he could see the figure holding onto him.

Edd

The reason he even did this too himself.

Edd huffed for air in slight anger. He pulled himself and Tom back onto the ground, he looked at Tom with concern and anger,

"How many times do I have to tell you to stop doing stupid things?" He quietly exclaimed,

"Heh, sorry" Tom replied.
