I stared at the man in front of me, not daring to lift my rifle. I had to play this smart; he obviously wasn't human and we were, meaning our chances of dying were higher. "Who are you?" I asked quietly and calmly. It was dead silent, so much so that if a butterfly flew beside you, you would be able to hear it breathing.

"Zackary," the man answered, startling me. His voice was loud and strong. "Zackary Hale. Please understand that I had to kill them. They would have killed me first."

I nodded. I was skeptical of him, but I really had no choice but to trust him right now. We were in his facility and getting on his bad side would not be a smart move. Steve cleared his throat to speak in the uncomfortable and awkward silence. "Where are the others?"

Zackary walked towards me, and I didn't move. Questions were suddenly running through my mind. How did he kill all of these people? With his bare hands? Considering he didn't have a weapon on him at the moment, that was my best guess."They're outside, searching the aircraft for anything dangerous or useful. I can lead you to them." I glanced at Steve and we both nodded. "Alright. Go," I said, stepping back.

We followed Zackary out of the room. Were the bodies just going to stay there? What was he? I carefully examined Zackary as we walked. Large amounts of blood soaked his suit and I noticed that there seemed to be claw marks in certain places. As we walked towards a dead end, the wall at the end of the hall slid open, letting in sounds of car horns, birds, and construction. It was a nice day and the sun felt pleasantly warm on my face. In front of the building was the aircraft. It was smoking and still burning but people were going in and out of it, carrying several weapons that even I didn't recognize.

Zackary led us to the side of the aircraft and slapped his hand against the metal. "See this?" he asked. A large blue V4 was painted onto the black surface. "I think this was all just a decoy. A suicide mission, per say. V4 aren't the kind of people to just send in a small group of soldiers. Maybe this was a distraction. My people have already searched the building and have confirmed that no one else is inside." My brows creased. "Why would V4 send their own men on a suicide mission?" I asked.

Zackary pointedly looked at me as if I had asked the stupidest question in the universe. "Along with this, I think they sent in a couple of spies. I think this whole aircraft deal was simply a distraction like I just said," he grumbled. I pursed my lips. Right then.

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see a small black dot headed towards me. I didn't think much of it until I realized that the spot was headed towards us. I looked up and squinted to try and focus on the object. What the hell was that?

"Bucky," Steve said in an awe-struck voice, hitting my shoulder. "It's Falcon!" he yelled, running towards the dot, which was quickly growing larger. I saw the expansion of his metal wings, but I didn't go running. I watched as Falcon hit the ground with a thud, wings folding inwards smoothly. Steve and Sam looked at one another for a moment, and I saw Sam smile, then envelope Steve in a quick hug.
