Everything had changed // apahart

lili's POV

It was our table reading day today. This was when everyone from Riverdale sat down at a huge table and we all read through the script for the next episode, not knowing what to expect.

By this part in Riverdale, everyone was single, because the writers wanted to sort of start over and see which couples they wanted to pair together.

We were through our table reading, and we read that there was a romantic scene between Archie and Betty, which was me and Kj, and I started to get a bit nervous.

It wasn't like a kiss scene or anything, thank god, I get super nervous in those kind of scenes.

We read through the script, filmed a few scenes, and then we all headed home, simple day on the job.

The next morning we headed there, the day of filming.

We got there, did some basic scenes at pops, and headed to lunch.

Me and Kj always have lunch together, as we had become best friends from filming a lot together and just being around each other a lot in general.

We were kind of like Archie and Betty in the show, accept for the fact that we had not known each other forever, and that we weren't hopelessly in love with each other.

"Kj I know it's weird but do you ever think about Archie as a character and think what you would have done as him?" I asked

"Yeah actually I do." He replied

"What would you do?"

"First I would change how he treated Betty, they're super perfect together and I'm really confused what's going on in his head" he said while laughing.

We continued talking and laughing , like we always did, learning more and more about each other as the days went by.

"Ok Lili, we better get back to set, we're going to get killed by the crew if we're late." He replied in his hilarious accent I always made fun of.

We headed out and into kjs jeep.

We drove for a couple of minutes, then arrived at the set of Riverdale.

When we got inside one of the writers of the episode frantically ran up to us panicking.

"Kj, Lili! There's been a major change to the script, here's the new script!" She said handing us the two packets in her hands.

We were a bit confused, but we took them, headed over to the lounge area, and sat down in a table for 2.

We opened our packets and started to read through them in silence.

"I wonder what the script change is" kj said breaking our silence.

"Me too" I replied.

That was until we got to the part.

It was the Betty and Archie scene we already read through, but there was an added part.

It had some dialogue, then it said "they slowly approached each other, Archie's hand cupping Betty's cheek, into a long, loving kiss."

We both were shocked and looked at each other with flushed cheeks.

I had kissed Cole before, but it was different, because me and Cole were just friends.
