Writers Block with Poetry

The more one stays the more one doesnt wanna go
Memories and bonds create a feeling of purpose that runs at a constant flow
Years and years of pain, love, laughter, and grind
Years and years knowing that it all must end in due time
Your dreams and goals, for once, finally come to fruition
Yet must come at the same time of life where your next step is a tuition
You love your friends, your role models, and your reputation
But it seems that you havent come close to this type of mental preparation
It eats at you and digs at you, causing a state of depression
You wanna move on but you really wanna stay, a constant battle of regression
Because lets face it, you've dedicated your mind, body, and heart
You've been there where the bad times ended and when the good times just happened to start
You've witnessed lost, betrayal, and what seemed to be catastrophic changes
Yet then have witnessed what victory taste like and a success for the ages.
So, while it may seem bittersweet and unfair in the end
Just sit back and think of the future you'll create and the message you send
You're the class that did it, the band that did it, the organization that did it all
You've showed the world that you are not fake and that you'll answer its every call
You've risen to every challenge and faced all the obstacles of hate
You've made what's seems unfixable for years become a fixable fate
But the best thing is, you're only going to climb higher
What seemed to be far out of our reach has now become our next desire
So, while life for them continues, sadly, yours must move on
But never forget the things you've done for them in the future and beyond

Because this who you are and soon to be what you'll be
Because these experiences you've had here will shape you entirely
Cause as your life goes on and you continue to be older
You'll never forget the days of Summit Band that replay over and over.
