Okay, so last time i dropped it, Josephine were at alex's house, working on a school project. Josephine is 15 and alex is 16.

We both just sat in his room doing pretty much nothing. It was boring to say the least. He didn't say anything to me and i didn't say anything to him. I just read in my book like a geek.

Alex's pov:

God, why can't i come out with the guts to say something? She's just sitting there reading. She doesn't seem interested in me... She's out of my leage. There's something about her that attracts me though. I wonder what it is. Her hair. It's so nice. It's brown and long. It's curly too. Her skin is so light brown. It's not pale, like the other girls. She has a special beaty, like a model. Or far more from a model. I know working on the project was just an excuse to get to know her better, so why aren't i saying anything?

"Ya like books?" I asked as i got up from my bed and sat down at the floor with her. She took her head out of her book and looked at me. She smiled lightly.

"Yeah..." She said as he looked down again. It was hard to get her to talk.

"What kind do ya read then?" I asked again, hoping for more info about her life.

"Nothing special, just history books, i guess..." She said in a sad way. She seemed to be bored. I wish i could do something about it, but she doesn't seem like a very fun person. After a while, we started talking again.

"How'ya like Sheffield so far?" I asked.

"It's okay." She said as she looked down in the book.

"do ya miss san francisco?" I asked.

"yeah...i really do. I never wanted to move here in the first place, but my dad got transported with his job, so..." She said and looked sad.

"What did ya mother have to say about yar moving to sheffield?" I asked. Suddenly, she looked up from her book and looked straight into my eyes. She looked searious. After 10 seconds of silence, she looked down and said:

"My mother... She left me when i was 5...I don't talk to her." i feel like i've finally opened josephine up. Meaby she didn't want to talk about it, but i didn't care.

" Im sorry, that must have been hard...Not living with a mother." I said, trying to be a shoulder to cry on.

"Dont be. I never really knew her." She said as she looked at me with her dark brown eyes. I somehow melted a little.

"Nothin'? Wow... you have no memories from her?" i asked.

"My dad never talks about her... But i've seen some photographs of her, without him knowing. She's really pretty. Sometimes i wish i knew her, sometimes i dont. That's just how it is." she said as she looked down in the book again.

"What do you know about her?" I asked.

"Not much. I think her name is Raquelle. She has beautiful hair. Long. Her eyes are beautiful, hazel. And her smile is also nice. I really wish i looked more like her. She comes from a french family. I think that's where she met my dad, in france. I wish to go there one day. Meaby meet her. " She said as she smiled. It was nice to see her smile. She looked so in peace.
