Going to the store was hard enough. Everyone just stopped, they stared at me. I acted like I didn't care and went to go grab the soda I wanted. Everything seemed normal until- "LUCY LUCY LUCY!!!!" I herd my so called friend yell at the other side of the small store. I set my soda and my money on the counter and crossed my arms when I turned back to face her. "What do you want, little miss party." I said impatiently. "I was wondering, I have a party planned for Saturday and.." I wanted to scream no but I let her finish, she leaned in closer to me and whispered "that really cute boy you like will be there." At that moment I turned to face the cashier blushing just a bit and grabbed my soda and stormed out of the store. "Wait LUCE WAIT UP." at that she ran after me. I turned to face her, my dark brown hair whipping behind me, "NO DONT CALL ME THAT!!" I shouted. It's about to go down. "What why not...?" She asked, sounding innocent. "NO YOU READ MY DIARY!!!" I screamed, mad as hell. "What-" I cut her off "NO YOU KNOW WHAT IM DONE! WE CANT BE FRIENDS ANYMORE!!" I felt my eyes get warm, and glaze, but I held my tears back. "WHAT WHY!?" She sounded irritated. "No you read my diary, invite me to parties I don't want to go to, you expose my secrets and you always forsake me!" I stormed away. Reaching home fairly quickly. I panted as I slammed the door, slowly sliding onto the floor, hugging my knees.

I really did try to hold back my tears but it didn't seem to work. I felt my warm tears trace my chin. I sniffed, I was alone now. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. That's not lil' miss party girl's knock I thought. I wiped my tears and calmed down and finally answered the door. Jase? "Hi Lucy, I brought you these" he handed my a basket with a pink patterned cloth over the top. I grabbed it and analyzed his outfit. He was wearing a blue hoodie, jeans and Nike sneakers. I smiled at his gift, "Thank you, honestly, thank you..." "Open it!" He said excitedly. I removed my cloth and almost burst into tears. "No-bake cookies..." I said, trying so hard not to cry. "I thought you would like them." He said, a little more smoothly than normal. Jase was like the three - year - old in my class, always exited, but the most funniest person to be around. "I do.." At that point I couldn't help myself, I jumped up and hugged him. I wanted to scream and cry "thank you" straight into his face. I released and waved goodbye, but before I shut the door I said, "that never happened!" Then I shut the door and set the basket on the counter. No-bake cookies, just like mom used to make, all the time I was suprised, I didn't cry that time. I took a cookie and ate it real quick. The first thing I tasted was the chocolate then the peanut butter, then the oatmeal. They tasted so good. Jase is so nice, but he doesn't do that for everyone does he? No he didn't do this to often. Only to the girls he... LIKED. No no no no no. That meant he liked me. My face turned red at this thought. I COULDNT HANDLE THIS. Then my moment of embarrassment was over. I here's my phone go off, it was from Jase...
