The Warrior

    I felt the stinging sensation of pain run down my arm as I blocked a downwards swing of my opponent. The energy used on my previous foes was taking its toll. It took all my strength to keep from collapsing under the weight of his enormous sword. I felt the warm blood run down my arm from where my hand had split do to the force of the attack. I brought my second sword around and clipped his body causing him to stumble backwards. I lunged with my good arm in a feeble attempt to end the fight only to have my sword knocked to the ground. After disarming me he quickly brought his sword around, which hit me in the side. The force of the blow knocked me onto my side. winded and completely out of energy all I could do was lay there. He kicked me onto my back and raised his sword to lay the final blow. Just before he brought his sword down an arrow hit him in the arm which caused him to drop his sword, the next arrow hit him in the heart. I felt the world around me spinning. I did not even get to see my foe hit the ground before I passed out.
