Chapter-11

Myrah's p.o.v...

I was going to the kitchen as mumma was waiting their making something for herself as she was feeling hungry. I passed the guest room when I heard a voice. I felt that the voice was familiar to me. I went near the door and heard it carefully.

"Happy holi baby" the voice paused "I know that I was to meet you yesterday only but could not as I had some work please forgive mumma na I promise I will come to meet you tomorrow" the voice continued. I felt a little suspicious as no one except our family that is dad's friends were allowed to come inside our house in any function and their are no kids in are family excepting me. I decided to open the door. As soon as I held the knob I heard a voice. Turned around and saw it was dad.

"Myrah have you seen Nandini? " dad asked.

"No dad" I again said a lie

"What happen Myrah?" He asked. Because he could see that I was a little worried. I can hide anything and everything from the world but will never be able to hide anything from him.

"Dad vo..." I thought of sharing it but then thought that it would be of no use. After all it was't really that big issue jitna I was making it.

"What happen Myrah I everything fine?" Dad asked in a worried tone.

"Nothing dad " I said making my expression normal. Only because I wanted dad to be fully convinced by my answere.

"Pakka" I nodded my head positively. "Then lets go."

"But where?" I asked in a confusion.

"To find your dear mumma." Papa gave a sarcastic smile. I just smiled and started walking with papa. I was sure that I will not be able to save mumma anymore because I will have to be with dad as he has caught hold of me. Sorry mumma.

We were soon inside the kitchen. And thankfully mumma was't their. "Dad I am tired now. Can I please go and rest for some time you know na how much that dumb boy troubled me (dadu's client's son.)" I was't really tired it was just that if by chance mumma sees me with dad, when he finally finds her she will think that I told dad about where she is. But in reality I myself don't know where she is.

"Ha...you can go I will find your mumma myself only, go rest and yeh if you need anything call me" dad patted my cheeks.

Manik's p.o.v...

Where can Nandini be, I mean I have almost searched in the whole house except our room. I least expect her to be their. Any way what is the harm in checking. I entred the room and Mrs Malhotra was again talking to somebody. I went and back huged and rested my chin on her shoulders. I just wanted her for me alone. She turned her head towards me still talking on the phone, and made a 'what are you doing Manik?' Look.

"Nandini just leave the phone for today please" I whispered

" Mr kapoor I will talk to you later" Nandini said on her phone finally I can have her all for me alone.

"So what's the matter Mr hubby?" Nandini questioned me. I was confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked. Nandini broke the hug and stood in front of me.

"Yeh he ki achanak sa why this change in mood, subha tak to you were in revenge wala mood or ab why this romantic mood?" She ended raising her brows.

"Should I tell the truth?" I said seriously.

"Manik what's the matter?" I faced my back to her "Is everything ok? Manik you are scaring kuch bolo." She said worriedly yet cutely. And I turned to her with my hands full of colours and bang. Madam all colourful.

"Manik" she said angrily. And I started running and she chasing (her favourite work). "Manik surrender yourself warna..."

"Warna kya? " I replied

"I won't leave you"

And I jumped into the pool. She was already out of the house that means she was not in the save zone. She also jumped in absent-midedly. She was so much in taking revenge from me that she was still not aware of her surroundings.

"Nandini Malhotra ab kaisa bach ka jaaogi?" I said looking all around are surrounding gesturing her to look all around. She did so.

"Manik yeh tumna kya kiya?" Nandini cried. And jumped out of the pool. Manik do some thing she is angry with you my heart demanded.
I also got of the pool and followed her. I don't really understand why every year inspite of her knowing that I will play holi with her she gets angry. Uff.

"Nandini" I shouted. She still did not stop. And reached the place where all the colours were. I felt that something is fishy. And Nandini turned towards me with her hands full of colours. In no seconds I was again coloured.

"Nandini" I shouted again. And this time she started running and I chasing (I hate that). Finally like finally I caught hold of her. I had hugged her and stoped her.

"Trying to be smart with me Mrs Malhotra?" I questioned

"So what do you think only you have the right to be smart with me Mr Malhotra" she questioned me back. I had no other option other than to smile at her cuteness.

"Nandini are you seriously angry with me?" I said in a serious tone

"Are you insane Manik?" She questioned

"Why?" I questioned back. She broke the hug.

"Matlab it was just a way to trick you. Or ab to yeh sab aadat ho gaya hai." She replied.

"So lets go" I said brushing my palms together.

"Yes" I took her hand in mine.

Alya's p.o.v...

We all were talking. Some were inside the water and others were sitting at the edge. I was sitting at the edge of the swimming pool dipping my legs in the water. I was wondering where Dhruv was? Everyone was here excepting him.

"Alya...Alya" Mukti broke my chain of thoughts. And shaked my body.

"Alya ab mujha yeh to samaja ata hai ki where is Nandini and Manik lost but tum kha kogai?" Cabir commented sarcastically. To which Nandini just looked here and their and blushed. And Manik like always gave a will-kill-you look.

"Oh! Hello Cabir we are right here in front of you" Manik mocked Cabir. Whereas Nandini was still smiling sorry blushing.

"Wo kya hai na tum logo apna tan sa yha ho par apna man sa khi or" Said Cabir.

"Kitna bakvas kar sakta hai na tu Cabir" Manik gave sarcastic smile.

"Hi guys" And finally Dhruv appeared.

"Dhruv apni promotion ki party kab de ga?" Cabir asked. And Dhruv settled down near me.

"Kaisi promotion?" Dhruv asked in confusion.

"Tu to Dhruv sa Dhruv tara ban gaya hai na...I mean saal mein ek do baar deka ga to log to yeh hi bola ga" Cabir cracked his joke while everyone started laughing aloud.

The whole day went like this. A tiring yet a day to cherish life time.
